What can I do with sausage meat?

Cook in oven till the beans are piping hot0 -
Mix with minced anything(!) chopped onion,herbs, egg and shape into meatballs - we eat with noodles and a tomato sauce. The sausagemeat is good for sticking the mince together0

Meatballs in Gravy
8oz minced beef
8oz sausagemeat
1 finely chopped onion
1 & 1/2 teaspoons tomato puree
1 & 1/2 oz fresh breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 Tablespoon dark soy sauce or a stock cube
gravy powder/granules
salt & pepper
mix mince, sausagemeat, onion, tomato puree, breadcrumbs & egg
form into balls, any size you like
put into pot, cover with water, add soy/stock cube
bring to boil & simmer 45 minutes
thicken gravy & season
this is much nicer than it sounds
EDIT ... oops, it took me so long to find my recipe book that I didn't notice eileenfromplaistow had posted a meatball recipe while I was still typing it out... I'll go get the book before I start next time

some of the recipes sound fab, but i have never seen just sausage meat. could i just skin some sausages instead ? or any ideas where i can buy sausage meat please ?
i have in iceland seen flat square slabs of sausage meat what could this be used for ? as they do look very interesting .0 -

Yes you can just skin sausages - i was lucky enough to get loads of packets of them reduced to 10p a packet, i just skinned them if I needed sausage meat!0

2 recipes for sausagemeat
1 chop carrots, onion and cooking apples in base of ovenproof dish.
top with layer of sausagemeat( mixed with any additions eg extra onion, herbs)
then sliced potatoes brushed with something to make brown not burn or covered in foil. VOILA
Large sausage plait
Puff pastry
roll into large rectangle
put sausagement in long tube in middle ( again mixed with favourite things , onion etc.)
Slash pastry on either side of sausage at 1" intervals and fold over and criss cross , bake until pastry brown and sausage cooked.
If anyone wants exact timings I'll see if I still have the recipe.
On the other hand it is nearly Xmas wait and do sausage balls around the turkey0 -
I'd make little patties, brown off and then turn it into a toad in the hole but squashed toads, so more like toad in the road....................
