These can be served hot or cold. I add worcestershire sauce to mine.We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
The obvious one would be sausage rolls I guess. Healthier options for this time of year may be a soup or with spaghetti , even put it on a pizza (not so healthy!);)0

Sausagemeat pie: sausagemeat with or without onion/herbs put into an oven dish and covered with mash or pastry.
Sausage rolls.
Meatloaf: some recipes use sausagemeat and mince
I used to love sausagemeat pie at school dinners. That one was done with a pastry base and a pastry lid - and served with boiled potatoes and baked beans.0 -
make sausage rolls/pasies but with roasted veg, caramelised onions, apples, etc bit healthier!

I like the sound of making sausage rolls, with different herbs/spices.
Would buying a packet of ready made puff pastry be fine for making sausage rolls?0 -
For a buffet last night. I mixed 1lb sausage meat with five hard boiled eggs cut small and mixed herbs. Put onto some rolled out puff pastry and on either side of the sausage meat cut pastry into strips (hope that makes sense) and plait pastry. Cook and serve also great served cold for pack lunches . jayI hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.0
