RED*RED*WINE wrote: »I decided to play safe today and spread my parcels around between 3 re-sellers all using DHL.
This is the result:
4 Parcels with Parceltree - Driver had no record so refused to take them
4 Parcels with Parcel2go - A pain to book and a faff with printing the labels but all were collected
4 Parcels with UK Courier Express - All collected
Are PPW and Parceltree connected in any way?
It just seems strange that PPW are recommending them yet this is the only reseller where the parcels were not collected.
No refund or reply from PPW regarding my failed collections from yesterday.
Thought which as just occured. I know for a fact wasif shafi is pretty forward in offering his account around- when I had talks with freight search I jokingly mention his somewhat dubious character and they said he'd offered to let them use his DHL account! which they declined, unsurprisingly. So perhaps PPW have been using shafis account this week on everything that was booked manually.
.....might explain all the failed collections......:rolleyes:0 -
desert the main reason is the way u book with parcel force takes time and my system would book it direct with ppw on the time of sale.
i may have to use parcel force but i guesswe have to wait and see.
I've been using parcelforce for the last few days & have to say what a breath of fresh air they are. A major benefit is you get a tracking number straight away so your not left wondering if your booking was successful. I made some bookings today just before 1 & they were picked up an hour later. I've used parcelcheap.com to make the bookings because the prices are cheap & the booking system is the quickest i've used. So Welcome if you want to try out parcelforce it's a good place to start. From my experience DHL will only cause you problems in long run.0 -
For the love of god stop stirring things up DPD/MHD, it's blatantly obvious you want to remove all competition by what ever means available so you have the market to yourself. Very wishful thinking, but apart from anything it's you 43rd useless, help devoid post.
You bring didley squat to this forum and this thread.0 -
this is taking the biscuit. i am giving my feedback and of what i have found out.......................................................
you are obviously trying to discredit what i say. why???????
i like many others want a better service, not cowboy companys who are here to make a quick pound or 2
i and maybe many others wants a service which is reliable and here to stay
that isn't 2 much to ask for, or sould be all just go back to the RM
claire12 you should be banned from this forum!!!:mad:0 -

I had a genuine good experience using parcelcheap.com this week. If every time someone puts a positive comment their integrity is questioned then newbies will not end up posting so anyone reading the thread will miss out on useful info. If what your about to write is of no use then don't write it otherwise your wasting space & your own valuable time.0

hey guys,
been reading this thread and previous one since 4pm lol (when my items wern't collected)
i'm pretty new to PPW compared to most of you, i only send around 15 - 30 parcels a week,
i booked 3 for today none were collected, however yesterday they collected 5 booked ones,
i received same email from paul, i got refunded for the 2 but not the last one, abit cheesed off but i'm in no real position to complain since most people here have lost 100's,
i just wanted to know if anyone can recommend a similer company (not your own) that i can use for sending parcels,
ppw did recommend parceltree but i do not know weather to trust them after this.
cheers and good luck everyone/
EDIT: at the moment my inbox is getting flooded with emails from sales@ ppwexpress - its the payment received email lol.?
not made any payments to them, hmmNo reliance should be placed on the above.0 -
