    if johnlewis could not provide a service would they close the site and not answer the phones? no they would not.. they would be there giving info to the customers..

    Why don't open an account with major couriers? I am sure you can get better rate and service that agent. We usually posted 50 or 60 parcles a week. Parcelforce quoted us recently:

    -Parcelforce Uk 24hr - £6.31 per parcel up to 30kg
    - Parcelforce Uk 48hr - £5.86 per parcel up to 30kg

    Parcelforce doesn't charge VAT. I am sure you get much better rate if you post more that 100 parcels a week.

    desert the main reason is the way u book with parcel force takes time and my system would book it direct with ppw on the time of sale.

    i may have to use parcel force but i guesswe have to wait and see.

    who else do you use?

    we use parceltree as our major agent. The only problem is their cut off time is 8am. That is why we aslo use PPWexpress.

    So considering you've thought PPW are crap and have been for months, why are you still using them. Why at a drop of a hat can you pull a discount code out of thin air for company you think are great, but for some reason you don't use.

    Yes.. I booked 70 collections for monday with parcel2go and it was a fiver each! i pay the cheapest.. i noticed you avioded the how much per parcel u paid with ppw. and to book 70 parcels with p2g it took over 90 minutes and its a pain in the !!!! ppw was very simple!

    if ppwexpress come back i will use them again.. i dont have any issues with the company just the way it deals with its customers (me) to flob me off at 8.40 and tell me it be fine and they be collected and then for me to call them a hour or so later and its a answerhpne and the site is deleted that psses me off.. im sure it would to other people.. i have a big customer base and they expect there parcels on time. (they pay for it) they expect it!

    And this part..
    ppwe is now more then parcel2go and p2g are so much better and has live support etc.

    PPW rasied the price and they was more then p2g and i then got a better deal with ppw and used them again with my new deal and now with my auto order system

    Yeah what a idiot ppw did.. they sent a email to there customers linking to a page FULL of links to other parcel companys etc that good for business then eh? lol

    I think you will find yourself with egg on your face after that post about how good ppw a day before it goes tits up! Your defending a company that deleted its website and then closed its phone lines and now is pretty much uncontactable lol.. your a fool!

    I have had missed collections and had to rebook elsewhere so im out of pocket now as i pre paid with the company...
    I have received NO REPLY from them or NO COMMUNICATION since thursday
    when i then bought more..

    Please can we just stick to who is using who and if they are any good or if they have gone bust can someone confirm it and how to get money back please...

    The thread is nightmare.

    Simply put I don't know what's going on. I've re-booked yesterdays failed collections and today's with Express Packages Deliveries. Irespecitive of that fact Yevette said they had been re-booked- we can't risk it.
