Simply put I don't know what's going on. I've re-booked yesterdays failed collections and today's with Express Packages Deliveries. Irespecitive of that fact Yevette said they had been re-booked- we can't risk it.
ppw said the same to me (they would rebook my collections for today) but i have rang my dhl depot and they have no collections for me today.0 -

I did think there was something fishy going on with PPW (as I posted on 15/9/08 in the previous thread) when they booked all my deliveries as HECO even though I'd paid for 24 guaranteed.
Shame really as they have been the best customer service wise for quite some time - certainly head and shoulders above PPD and MH Direct.EGG are a bunch of complete bankers!0 -
I decided to play safe today and spread my parcels around between 3 re-sellers all using DHL.
This is the result:
4 Parcels with Parceltree - Driver had no record so refused to take them
4 Parcels with Parcel2go - A pain to book and a faff with printing the labels but all were collected
4 Parcels with UK Courier Express - All collected
Are PPW and Parceltree connected in any way?
It just seems strange that PPW are recommending them yet this is the only reseller where the parcels were not collected.
No refund or reply from PPW regarding my failed collections from yesterday.I hope I never get so old I get religious...... Ingmar Bergman0 -

Well things have really kicked off since yesterday
On my front, email from WWP and all very good communication, thanks Michelle:j
Well DHL 24 hr service is not as they state "WARNING HERE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN ABERDEEN THE UK CAPITAL CITY FOR OIL AND THE WORLDS BUSIEST HELIPORT"
"DHL can only provide a Deliveries to Aberdeen Post Codes are a 2 working day service. This is due to the time the truck arrives to the Aberdeen Service centre, as it does not arrive till mid morning & all the drivers have already departed the service centre with their deliveries.
On this occasion the shipment was delayed in it transit from the Manchester Sort Terminal to Aberdeen & had missed the connecting truck
Please accept my apologies for the delay in delivering the shipment & for the inconvenience that this has caused to yourself & your customer
Kind regards
