I am in awe of your tidy house.
Do you know how much your OP is going to be?
I hope you haven't eaten all the cheescake, but i understand if you have (lol) All my apple cake 'disappeared' - I could hear it calling me from miles away "eat me"Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Do you know how much your OP is going to be?
i currently have around £300 in the isa waiting to go in...not sure about the definate amount..:o but will be adding the op for november to that when i get paid on the 22nd....so i will hopefully have over £500...:j :j :j i am going to have a good look and see if i can also trim the grocery budget (I just need to keep oh away from it!!) because i want to make as big a first op as possible..:D i know i won't be able to keep up massive payments, but it will really inspire me when i receive my mortgage statement in january if i have paid almost 1k off..:TI hope you haven't eaten all the cheescake, but i understand if you have (lol) All my apple cake 'disappeared' - I could hear it calling me from miles away "eat me"
i have saved some for my dd....the rest of it just suprisingly disappeared  ...have no idea how that happened!!!!:rotfl:
speaking of dd...i am absolutely overwhelmed by her at the moment....she fibbed about the breadmaker parts being located this week...apparently they are definately gone forever so, because she knew i really wanted one, without saying a word, she ordered me one from the internet which arrived today!!! i was soooo surprised....she reckons its just a thank you for being her mum..:D i can't begin to tell you how choked up i felt...and still feel...at her generosity and thoughtfulness....she is such a beautiful kid and still manages to surprise me everyday0 -
Right, with only 17 days to go before i can make my first op...(:j ) i have decided to have a look at my mortgage figures and make some really definate plans....a kickstart to the forthcoming new year if you like!!
i have signed up to the 2009 mfw thread and declared that my target is £2600 for the year....but i want to get this to at least 3k.....
I currently have 187 payments to make before my mortgage is cleared if i do nothing at all...that is may 2024.. if i make my planned op's it will drop to 120 months...october 2018....nine years, 11 months....
upshot is, i want to make enough op's in addition to my planned ones so that i can finish it in eight....i have no idea how much i have to have extra but i will try to work that out....
hope you are all well....off to fill my shiny new breadmaker now!!!:rotfl:0 -
£500 is a wonderful OP!
:rotfl: lol on the cheesecake. :rotfl:she is such a beautiful kid and still manages to surprise me everyday
She sounds just lovely, can I ask how old she is? First loaf should be labled "dd only"

she is wonderful....and not just because of the pressie!! she is 17 now and is growing up really fast....it's sooooooo scary because i still see her as my 'little' girl (despite the fact she has been taller than me since she hit her teens!! ).....i also have a 20 year old son, who is equally as generous and thoughtful.....i have been incredibly blessed by my children, i have a fab relationship with both of them and they have always been the only thing i really feel that i have acheived in my life....i may have 'acheived' loads of other things in other peoples eyes but they are the only thing i am really proud of....i know that sounds soppy but its true!!
oh, incidentally, she already ate the vast majority of the first loaf....big fat wedges with butter and jam.....mmmmmm!! :rotfl:and i have promised her she will have more for breakfast tomorrow!!0 -

That is sooo true!! I have laughed every single day for 20 years now....and the teenage years have been the funniest....How old are your babies?? It does throw me when you hear all the horror stories about teenagers...i have fostered kids for years and my house has always been more of a 'home for troubled teens' drop in centre..:D never met a bad kid yet....just an awful lot of VERY suspect parents....:mad:0 -

I just hope that I was half as nice as your two then!I'm too scared to even think about asking Mum...:o
