    Hi everyone:wave:

well, all has changed on the frazzmunch front!! i haven't been on for a year due to a variety of circumstances which i won't bother anyone with...suffice to say, chaos reigns supreme in my life and along with it came a broken computer which i could not justify replacing until recently!!

Financially, things are not fab..i have had a lot of unforseen expenses, a few life changes and I lost all control of my budget :(.

However, i have decided that i have to get back on the wagon...new tax year, new me!! I really wanted to pay off my mortgage extremely quickly, but that is no longer an option...regardless of that, I still feel that anything has to be better than nothing, so I would really like to try to pay off as much as I can.

Best way to do that has to be to get back on these boards and make it a conscious effort everyday to do better!! I am no longer looking for a miracle from myself, just a steady push towards my goals....;)

I am looking forward to catching up on all your posts...will probably need about a week off to do it though!!!

Hope you are all well..looking forward to chatting again!!:D

Well, its been six months since i was last here....but i really must get myself organised again!!:o:o:o:o

Yep, totally embarrassed....i have fallen so far from the wagon it is shameful...i am not going to come up with any excuses, but i do hope that I can turn things around again....

I am about to change job again..:D:D:D:j:j:j which is the best thing i can possibly do, it does mean that I have to be much more corporate minded because of the change of role....I also have to buy new clothing as i have nothing suitable....but am intending to beg and borrow quite a lot from my sister!!!

Money wise, i have blown vast amounts on rubbish over the past few months , although i have been keeping up with overpayments I know that I could have done dramatically better had i have stuck to the plot ...not to worry, the future is the only thing i am going to concentrate on ....no more wasting time worrying about that which i cannot change....;)

So, [STRIKE]from today[/STRIKE] (change that to the end of the month...I celebrate the pagan calender...so new years resolution for me!!) from 1st November!!:D, no more buying smoking materials....i have a cold and that will help me slow down...i don't feel like any at the moment, so will make the most of it!!:rotfl: I will also make more use of the stuff in the freezer and cupboards, i have to cut down the shopping bill a lot...keep buying stuff when i don't need to and probably won't use it....also have to stop buying sweeties...they are a bit of an issue with me :( can't resist the things!! However, they are worth the sacrifice.....honest:p

Not sure how my mortgage pig is doing, I have been trying to get some cash together to redecorate a room or two, but am going to hang on to it until I get a real bargin...am hoping that I can add at least one coin per day to my pig from now on though...hopefully, i will save enough from the groceries to add at least £100 by the winter solstice...that will be my latest challenge....save £100 off the grocery budget in the next 11 weeks to feed the pig!!:D

So, back on the MFW wagon, no longer on a three year challenge, but definately on the 7 year challenge....must pay off my debts before i get to 50...must remember that every day from now on....the only way to keep this going is by remaining involved...haven't done that well on it yet, but still trying!!;)

Look forward to talking to you all again!!

Woohoo!!:D:D:j:jDH has just been given a pay rise!!
Very pleased for him, he works really hard and has been waiting for quite a while for it :T....its not a major increase, but everything helps!!

I have been spending a lot of time working out my budgets, looking for ways to reduce my outgoings and will start to implement all of the changes over the next couple of weeks. I want to start the new year (my new year) with a clean sheet and everything in place for a real year of commitment to this MF business. I know that I won't be able to change everything, or plan everything....if I have learnt nothing else from my journey so far, I have learnt to expect the unexpected!!:eek: I am planning my menu's, spending time shopping around for things that I need to ensure I get the best deal and tracking where every penny goes. I really want to give the next year my best shot and see how far I can get!!:) It will take a hell of a lot of work though...so much to do:eek::eek::eek:

Am sitting in bed at the moment as have been let down by oil supplier and delivery has not arrived!! No radiators, no hot water...no chance of completing the decorating, doing the garden or much else really....gave me the opportunity to look at my budgets etc though, so definately not wasted time!!!:D

Just found your diary are you still checking it?
It's been over a month concerned you may have fallen off the wagon again.

I'm back!!!! I have been a computer free zone for months now but have just purchased a new one so am hoping not to have to do my usual disappearing act!!! :D:whistle::rotfl:

Mortgage front is reasonable.....with everything that has gone on over the past couple of years, we decided that a five year pay off was the only realistic option we had and despite not quite having all of the plans working yet, I have been making OP's every month..:A:D

I am now settled in my new job and I absolutely love it:j:j:j this is about the fourth job I have had over the past couple of years (i re-read this thread before I started this post....OMG:eek: ) but I don't intend to leave this one anytime soon.....:D it also pays much better than the last one:T

Anyhoo.....off to catch up....could be gone some time....but not as long as my previous detours!!!!!:rotfl:
