Morning all,
well done Stacey, you seem to be doing really well at sticking to the diet! That book looks good missy, I've just reserved it at my library (free here), and your BMI, wow, I'm drooling at the thought of anything under 30! Equally impressed at victory and all the others who've reached their goal weights. Sorry you're feeling down Beanie, it's no fun when you feel like that, I hope it passes soon.
The non-mse acupuncture seems to be working for me, might be psychological, but who cares, if it works! I've had a really stressful few days and managed not to binge once, have felt more comfortable around food generally, and more sensitive to feeling 'full'. I had to suggest, and commit to, a 'small change' as part of the treatment, and chose not to eat after 9 pm, which is my weakest time, so that's helped too.
I went shopping for some long-sleeved 'work' tops yesterday, and had to buy some in size 14--I've been in 16-18's for about 3 years, and I'm only 5'2. I was so happy, really couldn't believe it, it means they sctually fit on the shoulders too, whereas the bigger sizes don't. I haven't lost many lbs, so must be toning up:T
Have a good day everyone, jay xxAnytime;)0 -
Morning everyone!
I hope you don't freak when you see how big the book is JayIt's really interesting and useful though - so much so that I might have to buy a copy to keep for reference!
Great to hear the acupuncture is working for you. You're so right, it doesn't matter HOW it works, as long as it does work! Good news on the work tops too!
It's great hearing everyone's achievements, so please keep reporting them, no matter how small they seem!!!

Hiya!
Only been on the old 'healthy eating plan' for 3 days now but I was thinking this morning about what i'd of eaten had I not have been on it.... I would've eaten really unhealthy meals as well as 3 Dime bars, a choux bun, lots of biccies, lots of flapjack and a whole tray of cadbury fingers:eek: ! In 3 days, so I think i've got quite a large saving of calories there, am quite pleased that my family haven't tempted me into there ways!
I hope this 8lbs comes off before Christmas0 -
Hi all
Well I did my first boot sale this morning and we made £100 - woohoo! I'm not really doing it for the money, I just want to get rid of the stuff, and we brought a lot back but it was quite good fun. Fortunately the sun was out this morning - it's just started to rain - but it was pretty cold, and I'm only just starting to thaw out now!
I've also just posted several items on Freecycle, so I expect to have a million emails later... (slight exaggeration).
Hope everyone's having a good day.
LL
p.s. Beanie - there's some research that shows people who are slightly overweight are more likely to have good health! I'll see if I can find more information about that later.Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -
Beanie, I know it's only a small thing among much larger issues, but I feel BMI isn't that important at all. I put in what I think is my body's ideal weight (based on scientific testing of me personally) and still came out as 'overweight'. It gives a ball park idea and that is all - one tool can't be expected to be accurate for the entire population as we are all so different (thankfully) - so please don't be beating yourself up about it x
Some great results on here, well done everyone! Great success with the car boot LL!
FFM, I take it it was you but I was sure you'd done someone else's?Must be my brain playing up! Thankyou!

Hi Everyone! Well after a a holiday in Belgium, dinner out with friends and my husbands birthday on the weekend I am reporting a gain of 3.5 lbs. I am not too upset by this actually because I have been known to put on a lot more than that during my times away! I just have my birthday on the 21st to get through and then its clear sailing to Christmas when I intend to have a very very nice Christmas - for one day and a fairly drunken New Years Eve:D.
Good luck to everyone this week!
Love
