Serendisglair - I consider myself to be a hard person to buy for but I have to say your swap box was fab.
A fun drinks coaster with a joke about chocolate and girls (very true!!!). A very thoughtful photo of my before and after photos for motivation - it'sa real reminder! A fitness magazine which looks great and some fluffy woolly socks too (2 pairs!). Really great and well worth the wait. Thank you so much.
Glad you like it!! was getting uber paranoid that the story I printed out wasn't about you!0 -
Which fitness magazine is it? *nosey*0

It's called 'Women's Fitness' - haven't seen it before.0

I'd never seen it before either. But I thought as You'd been doing lots of keep fit recently it would be a help. I don't know if its any good though.
The reason I put your story into a photo is that its very inspiring and I often look at it just to prove such things as weight loss can be achieved. but it seemed from a few of your posts recently that you'd lost sight of the huge achievements and changes you've made happen...It was a great exercise as well as I went on Ajax's site and read all the good stories on there (it gives a lot of hope to those at the beginning) and then obviously I had a good half hour laughing at bails shacking up with an anteater and Vix moaning she didn't existas I'd forgotten those bits were there.
People like, missy, vic, suggs, pet, and ajax and the other maintainers shouldn't underestimate what they contribute to this thread :-)0 -
thanks seren nice thing to say:D
I feel totally 'woman flu' lousy but the weight must be coming off so there is always a silver lining, still looking for a wii fit, mission on, no one has rung for my excellent job services:rotfl: :rotfl: did pick up the phone once to check it was still working just as you would do if your loved one had forgotten to ring:rotfl: :rotfl: , OH away next week, 3 appointments at the docs next week so good job in a way I haven't got one:rolleyes: but I so want a job just to have something to do in the daytime other than clean, organize my two DS life's, I mean how hard can it be for a teenager to remember where he put his shoes?:rotfl: :rotfl:
Off to have some steaming hot soup...:D0 -
I am buying this red dress from Debnehams £35, great value for a dress that can be worn again, lovely V neck, flowy, feminine and not black for a change, so as soon as my body decides to maintain and stay there I am buying it:D
Here is a recipe for cheesecake that the kids, OH and I cannot get enough of, the original cheesecakes have too much sugar in them and send my numbers high but this one is so delicious and low fat/cals/sugar it does nothing to them and I thoroughly enjoy it, it makes 8 slices there are 4 of us and while the little one is eating his slice he cannot shovel it down fast enough because he so wants the second slice:rotfl: :rotfl:
DREAMY DIET RASPBERRY CHEESCAKE
takes 20 mins plus chilling time serves 8,139 cals per slice, not suitable for freezing
raspberry sugar free jelly 1 23g twin pack (use any flavour we have tried them all!)
digestives biscuits (tried cheap other ones but digestives are best try the light ones) 100g(4oz) crushed
low fat spread 50g(2oz melted) (I use extra light flora and use less to say on cals;) )
light soft cheese (i use philadelphia extra light) 1 200g tub
low fat raspberry yoghurt (you can use any flavour we have and we use muller light) 1 200g pot
Dissolve one sachet of jelly in 1/4 pint of boiling water, cool and set aside for 15 mins.
mix biscuits crumbs with the meltedd butter and press into a 8inch cake tin.
Put in freezer for 10 mins.
Whisk cheese, yog until smooth ,then mix inthe jelly (I use a food processor to mix it) Pour over base and chill for 1 hour.
Make up the second sachet of jelly to 3/4 pint, pour over cheescake, chill again until set, serve topped with raspberries.
Oh it is so lovely, enjoy xx

Day four of 'starting over, and I am doing well. Sticking to sw plan. Unfortunately we're supposed to be eating out tonight curtesy of a free offer but I'm hesitant to break the good run...I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Victory, that dress is really lovely, unfortunately it would not suit me, it would need a fuller figure. I clicked on the photo thinking it might take me to the Debenhams website - I was met with what looked like Twinks hobnobs - now I've got the urge to go cook some
Bails, have you guessed yet?
