DFW Weekend Pyjama party

Have just spoken to my Manager, all week we've been hearing about the 'dirty' campaign by B&Q to cause problems within the company-having Store managers tell people that we are going under etc but apparently, MFI have got new investors and all is hunky dory. Who knows but to be honest, I would be upset but can always get another job.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

Oh dear, hope it doesn't come to that.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Aww bun,
I would take Scott away for a weekend somewhere, forget the romance bit, just let things take their natural course... A fun weekend at Alton Towers sounds just the ticket. I will have the kids overnight for you.....Once they get to know me of course...

I remember the rumours about MFI just about to go under about a year ago as well Bun, and also in 2006, so hopefully it's just that - a rumour.

Afternoon (evening?) everyone :grouphug:Bunnyinthelights wrote: »Can I have your opinion friends?
I will be getting £300 from someone in the next few days-should I
1)use the money to take Scott and I away for a few days?
2)get a few things I have been wanting for the house? (shower screen, curtains for bedroom etc)
3)put it away for a family holiday
or
4)pay off some debt (I may be able to get a F&F from you of my debts for that much-but not certain)
Well I know you are going to hold off for now (hope the Snu is over-hype and not The Truth) if things settle down I'd either do 1 - time is precious, time alone and time away even more so, it never has to be super romantic - I know what you mean, lately DS has been an angel at going to bed (!!!!, shouldn't have said that out loud!!) and all OH and I do is watch DVDs!but it's still important that it's just us, IYSWIM.
OR secret option 5, spend it on YOU YOU YOU YOU.Herewegoagain wrote: »I went to Oz to see my sister and couldn't get the weight off before I went, I hated the fact that I was so weak, but there you are, we all get like that sometimes.
So when I got back I cleared the wardrobes of everything that didn't fit and decided to accept things how they were, and blow me, the motivation must have come back in my sleep, followed the SW, well sort of:rotfl: :rotfl: and made sure I ate small and often, took up walking everyday, can't park in town anyway, and gave up cakes, choc, eating OH's cooking He is my worse weight enemy lol
I've kept It off so far but this last week have been a bit tough, and of course I HAVE NO clothes that fit, but at least their toooo BIG:rotfl: :rotfl:
Life is strange init lol

That's really inspiring. I'm battling my weight at the moment, I was a very happy 12-14 pre-DS but now it's a struggle to keep from the size 18s, I am so desperate to be how I was but it just ain't happeningchocolate is my downfall... and OHs portions  but he cooks such lovely food.... I am going to start swimming once or twice a week but there are never enough hours in the day... anyway, well done you
:T that's amazing loss, you should be so proud :T
BB - I honestly dont know where you find the energy from! You never stop women!
Bunny - do what feels right for you hun xx
I made the decision today with OH that we are not going to have any further treatment at the vets for Tigger the cat She has lost most of her body weight and is barely eating a thing.
The vet said that they could do further investigations to give us answers but these will mean another trip to the vets, blood tests and treatment (if there is any)which would involve drips, tablets and more injections.
I think she has had enough, she is not in any pain and although she is weak she is still coming for cuddles and purring. She seems content here and is obviously stressed when she goes to the vets. The vet also agrees that any treatment may only help her for a very short time.
I want her last moments with us to be happily spent at home without any more distress...... I am obviously very upset.
I will miss her so much, and so will the boys as we got her as a kitten before either of them were born, she is now nearly 17. She is now curled up in the sunroom on a chair which is in a ray of sunshine, she seemes very happy and peaceful there.
Oh Lou :grouphug: I don't know what to say, my old cat died a few years ago, she was 15 and I grew up with her, I still miss her nowjust enjoy her last few days of companionship, 17 is a good age... doesn't make it easier I know
:grouphug: best to keep her at home where she is happy though, if she could articulate it I bet she'd agree :grouphug:

Hi Daphne, how are you today hunny?
My cats are 19.
I am dreading the day when they are no longer around.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
just realised I've got £70 sitting as 'received' with Quidco which will be coming my way the end of next week. Pity the other £230 I've got sitting as 'validated' can't hurry itself up to be coming as well, I could use it.
