  • HWGA,
I bet the would with my two!
btw, I hope you don't mind me asking-how did you achieve such a brilliant weight loss?
I went to Oz to see my sister and couldn't get the weight off before I went, I hated the fact that I was so weak, but there you are, we all get like that sometimes.
So when I got back I cleared the wardrobes of everything that didn't fit and decided to accept things how they were, and blow me, the motivation must have come back in my sleep, followed the SW, well sort of:rotfl: :rotfl: and made sure I ate small and often, took up walking everyday, can't park in town anyway, and gave up cakes, choc, eating OH's cooking He is my worse weight enemy lol
I've kept It off so far but this last week have been a bit tough, and of course I HAVE NO clothes that fit, but at least their toooo BIG:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Life is strange init lol

BB - I honestly dont know where you find the energy from! You never stop women!

Bunny - do what feels right for you hun xx

I made the decision today with OH that we are not going to have any further treatment at the vets for Tigger the cat She has lost most of her body weight and is barely eating a thing.

The vet said that they could do further investigations to give us answers but these will mean another trip to the vets, blood tests and treatment (if there is any)which would involve drips, tablets and more injections.

I think she has had enough, she is not in any pain and although she is weak she is still coming for cuddles and purring. She seems content here and is obviously stressed when she goes to the vets. The vet also agrees that any treatment may only help her for a very short time.

I want her last moments with us to be happily spent at home without any more distress...... I am obviously very upset.

I will miss her so much, and so will the boys as we got her as a kitten before either of them were born, she is now nearly 17. She is now curled up in the sunroom on a chair which is in a ray of sunshine, she seemes very happy and peaceful there.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Ah Louise,
    It's such a difficult thing isn't it?
I know we did the right thing with Turkey, but I also ownder if we would have been happier never having to endure the diabetes treatment...

On a happier note (NOT) has anyone seen the front page of the Sun?
