Early rise for me this morning:rolleyes:

I went to bed at 9 last night cos i couldn't keep my eyes open and woke at................2.30am:eek: :eek: :eek:

So i have been awake since then,pottering about on here.

Going swimming with DD today:T

and maybe booking in for my tattoo.:D

Had another one of *those* conversations last night:rolleyes: but apart from that great.

Hope all peeps and cats are fine:A

Can all us shy people be all be cheerier today?:rotfl:
See we are all the same:T which is why we should all come to the meets and not be afraid.:D

My biggest problem is not knowing what to say to people:o
I sit there thinking "all my small talk is boring" so i just don't say anything unless someone speaks to me first or offers me alcohol:D

Glad you started the thread today, I have been watching Wire in the blood on ITV.comn on my laptop in bed - how sad am I. OH home tonight thought:rotfl: and talking about not knowing what to say, sometimes when i start the thread I think, I am so boring all i do is get up and go to work, not much else to say really:rotfl:

Anyway I'm off to work today and thats about it:rotfl:

Jinky - was one of 'those' converstions with your OH by any chance. If it is, I get lots of them from my OH, I have slowly mastered the art of 'tuning him out' - I learnt it from him..........maybe you should try it :rotfl:

Lou, hope your cat is comfortable. Hugs to you. We had dogs and cats when I was a kid and losing one was always devastating.

Jinky what are you getting for a tattoo? Where?

I am hoping for a new start today with a positive mental attitude towards things. I explained that I have few friends because I dropped them all when they couldn't stop living like sixth formers, but the only thing that's stopped me making new friends is me.

A girl at work had a baby 6 weeks before me and isn't it silly that we've only seen each other twice since. We send the odd email or text saying things like 'oh we must get together sometime' 'let's catch up and see how the babies are growing' etc etc but we never do. My paranoid and lonely side says she is just being polite and the reason we haven't met is because she doesn't really want to, but what if she is feeling a bit isolated too? So I am going to pester her until she gives in! If she doesn't want to meet because she doesn't like me she'll have to tell me it, I ain't taking no hints!

If it is a dry day I am going to take Elliot to the park, he is big enough to go on the swings (even he does just sit there looking unimpressed :rotfl: ) and I will chat to at least one person and if they ignore me or blank me then it's just because they don't have a positive mental attitude and It Will Not Get Me Down!

Puddy tat seems a bit brighter this morning:D think that the injections she had yesterday has picked her up a bit.

The weekend is upon us and I have absolutely nothing planned which to be honest suits me nicely, I will be having a Friday night party on here even if I am by myself:beer: ........plan to totally chill and laze around for the whole of Saturday and Sunday.

Glad your kitty seems better today, can she have treats like tuna or cheese? I spoil mine whenever something has been wrong (which is a lot :mad: they get into trouble :mad: )

Yes I tend to think someone doesn't like me without a single reason but maybe I give off a vibe I do try though and that's when it hurts the most, when you have actually made an effort. But I do believe that most people are good people and so maybe I just need to persevere - even if most people are good, some are going to be !!!!!!.
