As for debt increasing-as am blacklisted, don't think it will increase, lol! But I *think* Egg may be low enough for a F&F but not sure...and I'm worried the my DMP my be in jeapordy (sp) if I start being able to offer F&F's-not sure??
I think time away with Scott would help but I also worry that I may 'hype' it up too much in my mind and be disappointed-he is not 'traditionally' romantic and I wonder if he minght feel pressurised by a 'romantic' weekend...also not sure about leaving the kids for more than one night-not so much because I 'can't' but mainly for how much it would cost! (in-laws wont have them overnight so would have to pay a sitter)
argh!
I'm guessing that's not a good thing Bun :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Can you not go away for a family weekend, with the kids? We dont have anyone to mind our kids (we've not even had a night out together in about 7 years  ) so I know what it's like. Any romantic pressure would disappear, and you could spend quality family time together :cool:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I will be getting £300 from someone in the next few days-should I
1)use the money to take Scott and I away for a few days?
2)get a few things I have been wanting for the house? (shower screen, curtains for bedroom etc)
3)put it away for a family holiday
or
4)pay off some debt (I may be able to get a F&F from you of my debts for that much-but not certain)
Hiya guys,
god I've been busy:cool:
Bunny as to your problem, I'm a very sad person as I use all money to pay debt and now the mortgage hon, Isn't there any cheapo away breaks, (One of the Dailies was running one last week) Then you could have both, a break and pay some extra debt
Wish I was nearer to you guys, then I could have your kids for you. Now my kids are grown up and I have a grand son, but I remember when we were in the same position and couldn't go anywhere.

What a sweet thing to say-I wish we had more friends nearby that would have the kids...Just once or twice a year to spend 'us' time...
But thank you xEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Afternoon all.. I haven't read the whole thread, but I am still in my pyjamas
Had a good night out, but spent a small fortune (although part of that was lending money to a friend which I should get back next week).. and a bit fed up that I slept through half of today when it's lovely outside.. oh well! Planning to do very little today....
Bunny, am not sure where you stand with the DMP if you do a F&F, but if you can I would go for that option... and like BB says try to have a night in to yourselves? Have you talked to him about it, at the moment it sounds like the doubts you have about a weekend away would make it a bit stressful, rather than relaxing and enjoying yourselves?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
