Since I can't work... It was hard from the beginning, and it just grew in size. I haven't noticed it changing this week, really. It also looks like I have got a bruise in that place as well. It is there since last Monday!!!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Well it does sound like what i mentioned before. As it has hardened it means it is resolvining itself and will eventualy settle down. If in the early days you would have squeezed it in the bath it would have been like squeezing a facial spot but more painfull. I have had these a few times and been told they are from removing hair and from what my dr says the only way to stop it is by not removing hair and using a good exfoliator that is thoroughly rinsed off afterwards.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

I haven't removed any hair for a good few months there! I hope it is nothing serious, thanks for all the support - I will let you know what GP says...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

Thanks Nottslass for setting this one up, was also getting a bit despondent with the number of people enjoying a fleeting membership of the other thread before progressing to the pregnancy club! We're 14 months and counting. DW has PCOS and off for lap & dye next week then assuming all is fine we'll hopefully start Clomid next cycle as it's unlikely she's ovulating.
If anyone is interested in non medical ways to help fertility and ttc, we've become convinced at how diet can help, particularly in addressing problems. By following advice for helping PCOS i.e. cutting out certain foods and introducing others, DWs cycle regulated to 28 days pretty much instantly having been anything from 40 to 100 days + previously and she's now had 3 regular cycles on the trot. It's seems a little strange to be pleased that her AF has turned up on time but if it continues that way then we've effectively doubled the opportunity to get pregnant once we start Clomid thanks to simply changing our diet.
A further bit of food info if anyone is interested, apparently sweet potatoes are a fertility superfood - it's the most nutritionally beneficial vegetable you can eat and the author of the book we've got claims that all of the people she has recommended to load their diet with sweet potato have become pregnant within 4 months (though I presume they must have been people without significant fertility problems). We're on month 3 so hoping we don't let the trend down! One interesting fact she throws in is that there's a boom of babies born in the USA 9 months after Thanksgiving, her hypothesis is that this could well be down to the combination of the tradition of eating a sweet potato rich diet around that time coupled with the fact that people are more likely to BD and are relaxed over the national holiday. Food for thought...0 -

Mmm I love sweet potatoes. But is this just for women or does the man have to eat them too as my OH isn't so keen!0 -
Hi Ladies,
Now on CD31 !!! taken 4 pregnancy tests all BFN.
AF is never late and have always had a very regular 28 day cycle ,until last month when it was only 22 days !!!
we invested in the clear blue fertility monitor and this is my first cycle of using it so perhaps the reason AF is late is because I'm constantly thinking about it !!!
Ahh well, got our appointment at the IVF clinic in 2 weeks so should know more about our chances then - mind you I did have to take OH's population paste sample for analysis this morning, everything was going fine until I bumped into a colleague in the corridor ( I work at the same hospital) and there I was trying desperately to get away, and deliver my "precious load" which I was keeping warm in my bra whilst she was trying to update me with all the latest gossip.lol
Baby dust to each and everyone of us and welcome to our new thread

It's good for both as they're rich in beta carotene (a vitamin A equivalent nutrient) and vitamin C in particular. We've been eating them pretty regularly and so have had to find lots of ways of making it less repetitive - for example, roasting them with ordinary potatoes or making them into chips, putting them in curries, frittata, mashed with celeriac, making sweet potato houmous, in a thai soup etc. Hopefully one or two of those might be more palatable for your OH, or manage to disguise them suitably! Worse one DW tried was doing them like a baked potato, not good...0 -

Your OH is lucky you were able take it for him! As it takes us about an hour to get to the nearest lab for my sample i had to go and 'produce' it on site so when i phoned the histopathology dept they told me to go to the andrology room. Of course when i got to reception they'd never heard of the andrology room and had no idea where it was so spent a few mins asking various colleagues if they knew, before turning to me (and the queue that was steadily building behind me) and asking "so what's the room for?". Then having found the correct dept I was shown by a nurse to a dimly lit room that had a couple of chairs and a sofa in it (is that in case you bring an audience?!) but no...er...reading matter to help you as it were. So what with a nurse outside the room, DW waiting on some yellow lines as it costs too much to park (very MSE!), it wasn't exactly conducive to the task in hand! I don't think i've ever been so embarassed as i shuffled out of the room, little pot in hand and muttered goodbye to the nurse...

Oh Meltrix, you poor thing! I am cringing for you. There was me thinking that it was just us girls that suffered on this ttc journey but I can seriously feel your pain, lol
Icklebeans, I know what you mean about the people who come into the other forum without reading through first. I made a point of reading the whole thread before I even introduced myself. More than anything I didn't want to double up on questions that may already have been asked (which I have noticed is happening lots lately). The thing with the abbreviations aswell, we all know them so they are obviously listed somewhere, we aint all psychic - read through and you will find them, grrrr! Sorry for the rant!
Sorry honeypop - I do remember your post but didn't reply, think I was being a bit of a wuss really. I don't think you were being rude at all, just honest. I am just sorry that I was not brave enough to agree (on the actual forum rather that just in my head) and even typing this now I feel a bit pathetic about that
Nicki - definitely not bitter, same as honeypop - just honest. I have just congratulated a first time poster on the ttc thread who popped up to let us all know she was ttc and had fallen pg. I am happy for people but can't help feeling some sort of resentment on behalf of all of us long timers.
I will continue to post on the other thread as there are other long timers that are on there and I haven't seen on here yet and I like to keep in touch with everybody but I have to say that I will definitely feel better posting on here with like-bodied (iyswim) people.
Good weekend wishes to all
