    Ah ok, thanks.

To be honest, after playing around with it I don't feel it is worth all that money (being a student, money is tight lol). It's great for an LCD and the picture looks the same as ones that cost about £1200 that I saw in Comet, but when I think I could save over £100 and get a CRT with an awesome picture and am only losing space, I can't really justify the difference or even the purchase of an LCD TV. I'm quite picky about quality and it just isn't there to the standard I'm used to from a CRT, which I guess I should have foreseen.

Does anyone know where I stand with regards to returns and the price difference? If I return it and Aria refund me the full price, and Dell issue me with the price difference do I just stay with making £150 (the price difference dell were refunding) or do I return it and tell Dell and ask for the £75 cash, or have all those options gone now?

Don't know where you stand on this as I heard that Aria only give vouchers for refunds which sounds suspect and if it is not faulty they may try and get out of it. If you get your money back from Aria surely you will get to keep your £150 refund as Dell wont know any different.

Going to set my TV up properly at the weekend as the warrenty is just running out if it is not getting used

Yea, I emailed them regarding that, they quoted this part..

    # You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days after you receive the goods (see below).
    # To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to the Supplier by hand, post or via this page , giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. Notification by phone is not sufficient.
    # Once you have notified the Supplier that you are cancelling the contract, the Supplier will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

I am assuming that re-credit means re-credit the card, otherwise it wouldn't really be a 're-credit' it would just be a credit note?

Jammy - the main issue with mine is speaker hiss. Put your head near a speaker whilst there should be no sound and see if yours has it. Then move further away and see if its noticable at your viewing distance.

My speaker hiss got much worse this week (revision A03 also). Send a note to Dell technical support via their website asap to let them know if yours has a fault, then follow up immediately by phone (if they're in).

There are some very helpful (and long!) threads also on dvdforums and avforums about this - well worth a read if you notice any sound hiss/rgb scart issues.

Only set my AO3 up for a quick try and the speakers are fine but not going to set it up until tomorrow so will wait and see, my brother also has the same version and he set is fine for the time being

No probs, have a good xmas too :)
Watch out though for the "21 days" after delivery that is rumoured to be a dell policy for the cutoff between replacement for new and replacement for "refurb".
