Does anyone know how late citylink deliver? It was scanned into the van at 9:06am but still hasn't turned up. I just called them, but their lines closed at 7pm.0

Does it say anything on their site regarding delivery times? on my tracking my TV left a depot after 8pm and was delivered the following morning so I wonder if they pick up goods after that time they may still deliver but if not them should defo be tomorrow0 -

I couldn't find anything about delivery times on the website. It does say "These goods have been loaded onto a van for delivery today." though.0 -

I really hope I can finally get it sorted. Tomorrow is the last day it can be sorted before Xmas. I sincerly hope they're not dragging it out so they can forget about it over Xmas

The chances of you, I or anyone else getting a replacement TV from Dell on a free Saturday Delivery with almost no notice are slim. And it's not just any Saturday either. Sure, they could do it technically but unless a swoosh of festive cheer infects Dells offices tomorrow morning it's not going to happen.
It's probably office party day at Dell anyway tomorrow: skeleton staff etc :xmassign:

Does anyone have the postal address for the EMEA Escalations office. I'm about to send in the receipt from Scan, to Dell Innovation House, Cherrywood Science & Technology Park, Co.Dublin. Can anyone confirm this is the correct address?0

I got an email today from Gillian Larkin and have been offered the £150 refund if I can source a similar spec TV.
Having had a look about I've decided to go for the Dell TV from Scan. It still looks to be the best available for outputs, spec etc.
I've received an email from Scan confirming my order - would this constitue a receipt for Dell? Or do I need to wait till my TV arrives and scan/copy the receipt and send to Gillian? Or should I expect a receipt from Scan (similar to the ones Dell send out) via email?0 -

I think you'd be best scanning in the receipt and emailing it direct to Gillian Larkin.0 -

I just emailed my sales invoice and Gillian told me that would be fine and it beats geting stuck in the christmas post if I would have sent it0 -
mine just arrived this morning, I'm pretty pleased with it so far. It's a shame that the picture won't be as good as a regular tube because the difference is slightly tempting me to return it and stick with my old 80's TV.
One question I have though is that when I hook the TV up to my computer via DVI and play videos, they play but I get a slight flickering at the same time. I've tried different refresh rates and I'm pretty certain my card can handle it.
Also, what do I need to connect to the TV to get sound? so far it is just picture.
If anyone is worried about the ghosting like I was, I really can't see any at all. I've hard that its most noticeable on scrolling text such as sky sports but there isn't any at all.0 -

change your resolution to 1024x720 and then use your size button on your remote; set it to full screen and the flickering should go away0
