I would say to anyone that is fighting for the 32" instead, keep going as they have just done a big uturn on me, I think a bigger force has made them change there mind. Am I sorry I went for the "loss of bargain?" no, as its just a tv for the bedroom so a 32" would just be too big. Happy days, and a Merry Christmas to you all :snow_laug .
oh ok, I wonder if I should do the same. Mine is for the bedroom too, 32" is too big and I'd be suprised if they were to actually sell them to us at a price I can afford. I can't risk them turning down my refund though.0 -
I don't know you know, I think there could be 32" tv's on there way to some people, I thought I would be going to court in January, how wrong I was.I have just replied to there email and they have sent an address in Ireland to send my receipt, I will post it tonight and keep you all informed :santa2: .0

sounds good, good luck with it
Do you really think they might issue people with 32" sets, or just at a discounted price and still quite a lot more than 360 quid.0 -
All I can say is, I sent a letter to bracknell, then sent an email. Got a reply back saying £75 voucher, no chance getting the difference. All the time I have been emailing, watchdog, which, mirror newspaper etc.
Sent the 2nd letter today, so it will be still in the post. Looked at my email and got one from Dell saying "sorry about conflicting information, but we would like to offer you the difference of the 2 tv sets" send your receipt to Ireland.0 -

oh ok, which email add was this? Do you mind posting it? I might try and check with them beforehand. thanks in advance
edit: oh, and you are happy with the quality right, did it get better after messing with the settings yourself?0 -
Email addy is gillian_larkin@dell.com and I haven't had time to mess with the tv yet. Just don't sit to close, that why I think the 32" would just be too big, unless you have a big, big bedroom.0

If Dell do give out the difference, I would probably go to another company and get another TV as I have lost confidence in Dell. I know people are quoting their T&Cs, but I am sure that TS go more on your statutory rights. I wonder where we stand there?

Dell will only give out the difference if you have already bought an identical tv somewhere else e.g must be Dell W2600. They are asking for the receipt before they refund you. I am not sure if it has worked for anyone else yet, but it did for me.0

Here is the email address for malcom Coles at Which magazine

Trouble is Owey do you trust Dell to stick to their word and refund the difference ??
Scan & aria both claim to have stock of these tvs - i'm tempted but dealing with Dell thus far doesn't instill me with confidence to say the least.
I've sent a response to their vouchers offer (that they could shove em I want a tv) to gillian larkin but have heard nothing back yet.
hope you do get the difference refunded Owey0
