Have you referred them to this post? It would be quite good to have someone with some kind of influenceto come here, instead of everyone emailing the same thing to the same person and getting different replies.0 -

OK, as zero emails have flooded in in response to my previous post I guess no-one wants to form an action group.
Shame really as I think Dell are kacking their pants over this one.
Anyway, <uki_olos_queries@dell.com> seems to work OK as I have now heard from Mamtha on that address and we are actually having a constuctive dialogue!!!
I ordered 2 x W1900 and 1 x W2600 on 28/11 (Personal use not Ebay resell in case you are wonding). Mamtha will be letting me know if I will get 2 or 3 vouchers after speaking to his boss tomorrow.
I have to say that given the posts from people 'lucky' enough to get their TVs and them returning them, £125 or £175 in vouchers is looking the better option  .

For a very limited period from the 29th to 30th November, due a technical error a number of 19"/26" LCD TV orders were confirmed in error. Unfortunately due to the unprecedented demand for the offer combined with this technical error, at the point that your order was confirmed we were no longer in a position to supply you with a 19"/26" TV.
Thanks slowen for posting this email.
What I find interesting is that my order was placed and confirmed on the 24th Nov - outside the technical fault.
I think that Dell are digging themself in a hole over this, such is their worry over the whole situation.
I am awaitng replies to a couple of emails and hopefully these will be with me on Monday. I have not directly been offered the vouchers.0 -
I've heard nothing about the vouchers either apart from this site.
To be honest, after going through all this and seeing some of the faults people have had and considering the 1 year warranty etc etc I think I would only accept a different model.
I don't want the W2600, it just doesn't seem like a good piece of hardware or worth the money anymore, so I guess the voucher will do for me unless they start offering the 23" ones from the US site which is unlikely.0 -

Here is the responce I got but am not giving up that easily as why did they check for funds and change my delivery date 3 times if there were no TV's
Dear Sir,
I am mailing from Dell in relation to your 19"/26" LCD TV (choose correct item) order which you placed last week. It was a great value offer which was subject to availability.
As the product is End of Line we are not in a position to provide a replacement. The error was quickly identified and rectified but we regret that we are not now in a position to deliver the TV model which you ordered from us.
We are happy to provide you with a full refund if monies have been taken from your account together with a gesture of goodwill of
19" Customers: £50 or EUR75 voucher towards another purchase
26" Customers: £75 or EUR110 voucher towards another purchase
on our part. We will begin the refunding process as soon as possible but please be aware that it may take up to 7 days for your voucher to reach you. We would be happy to discuss other purchase options with you.
We sincerely regret this error and apologise to you for any confusion caused.
I'm standing firm on this one.
If I get a response to the emails I sent I will be asking what exactly was the nature of this 'technical fault' and why should that affect my rights or have any impact on their t&c's.
Also, for the people who have had the cash taken off them - this will happen 'as soon as possible' yet your cash has been sitting in their account accrueing interest and at the same time costing you money (particularly if purchased with a credit card) by accrueing interest on your card.0 -

An update for you - I got the same email as other people today offering me a £75 voucher.
Given Dell's appalling level of customer support I was surprised to open my email this morning and find a response from Josh Claman, one of the top dogs I fired an email off to on Friday evening. Although it was merely a one liner saying he'd escalate the issue and get someone to contact me asap.
Within an hour I'd got the party line email about 'technical issues' and offering a £75 voucher. This is obviously the stance their taking and are not budging - and I'm not budging either.
I responded to their email asking more questions - they basically responded with 'send any complaints to this address' - a couldn't care less attitude, as to be expected.0 -
Has anyone who physically has a TV - whether faulty, DOA or an unacceptable refurb - been offered these vouchers or is it just for those who are suffering nonfulfilment of the original order ?
Cheers,
Mike.0 -
Just checked my emails and from the ones that I emailed on Friday evening Josh Claman has opened my email but had no responce as of yet and Arunajyothi_Raja@Dell.com has deleted my email without bothering to open it so it shows you how good Dell are at customer service. I will be keeping the confirmation emails is case the matter escalates any further.
I would not bother wasting time or money on Dell in the future as they are not worth the effort0
