Right, sussed it. Hope these work or you might have to copy and google search them. They do look bad and it is not the camera (Ixus700). As everone else seems to be saying, tv is definitely better viewed from a distance.
I suppose for the money it is ok and the HD will make all the difference although that is some way away.
If you want any other pictures, let me know. I took the dvd pictures of Gothika as it is filmed quite darkly.

Hello everybody
Mine is arriving today, but I was wondering whether the problem with this telly is the fact that there is a 25ms refresh rate. I thought the UK frequency was 50Hz ie 20ms, which would make 25ms seem a bit high.
Anyway, I was thinking of connecting mine to a PC with a TV card and seeing whether that would be better input-wise rather than going through a freeview box. Problem is I don't have a spare PC lying around, and was wondering whether this should make a difference or whether it's a waste of time?0 -
Wow that really looks quite bad in those photos. Is anyone able to provide numerous photos?
Could definitely do with detailed photos, such as (3 of each, say):
Analogue
Digital (state sky or cable)
DVD
Game (state xbox or PS2 etc)
Trying to take photos of both still images (pause the game or a recording), and moving pictures (perhaps someone with a tripod could help?)
Also, a video, to perhaps show what motion picture is like (hopefully)
So... anyone fancy having a go? For all of us!0 -
Well it looks like all the Dell 26" lcd Tv's have gone now, for a while anyway, as if they are not up to scratch I think alot will be going back including mine if the PQ is no good  .0

On the last pic it was like that watching it, as I said in previous post it was like being on acid (I imagine), not like that all the time but you can see it does struggle with the speed or whatever it is?
Away to try it with PS2 and try another dvd. Not wanting to put people off just trying to give an informed view. It is ok watching sky from a distance but you can see it is grainy some of the time, and not as good as CRT, but I am still not decided myself on whether to send back. Will see if it settles over next couple days as a prvious poster said it might?0
