I think when a Tv comes up like this, you get people saying its rubbish that say they bought it but they haven't, but are just trying to put people off. But then you will also get people trying to convince themselves its great because they don't want to look a fool by sending it back "remember its your right to send it back within 7 days if your not happy". Mine is getting delivered on Friday and I will be setting it up via component for the dvd which if you were lucky to get the Lidl dvd with component for £19.99, well done.
If not, alot of dvd players don't have component at such a cheap price.
Also I will be conecting it with my Sky box via fullywired scart untill I get my Telewest box next week.
If you have Sky+ I am sure they have a component feed on them?.
In the end everyone will have there own opinion on this Tv, and you should not let others put you off, as it will be you that is watching it, not them.

Thanks for saving me the trouble of reposting all over again here
I'm still not sure what those artefacts are...0 -
Now im really confused...was waiting to read what people thought of their TV's before buying....I would be looking to connect this up to my sky box, DVD player and Slimline ps2....but i really do not understand all this rgb/scart/wiring talk..I'm afraid it all means nothing to me...
Another point..as I would be looking to mount this on the wall...any ideas how to avoid all the wires that would be going to the various components?
Thanks in advance0 -

Agree with what you say about people being negative but I am being honest. Picture is not terrible just not as good as my CRT's, DVD definitely struggles with the blacks and even found faces were like rubber and appear to wobble...not on acid but felt like it (or what I think it would be like). I am just giving an honest opinion that may help others.
Can you tell me what "setting up via component" involves, what about all these other leads on top of scart, can I use them to improve somewhat?
Thanks
