Dell just called me to confirm my order as well?

Godspeed are you sure, were are you looking?

Sorry for not replying sooner, had to pop out.

CS informed me that they are not taking anymore orders. I tried online earlier only to be greeted with an error message if you tried to put the item in your basket.

I think it will depend on what time you got your order in as to wether it will process ok. It now lets you add it again but I would'nt be confident that you'd get them if you order now.

    Cheers

Just watched a few mins of Buffy on Sky One and the pic was dreadful (via RGB Scart). Ghosting and smearing every few seconds and at the slightest movement. It was virtually like watching slow-motion. I wonder how heachache-inducing this TV is going to be ? Class-action lawsuit anyone ?

    Mike.

I too had just viewed Buffy and it is bad, not all channels are bad but some seem to be, also some almost seem as though they are dubbed...picture not matching speed of sound!! Here are examples, 2nd photo does look worse than viewed but not much!!

I don't think some of the photo's are representative though tbf. A camera isn't the eye, so can actually detect things you wouldn't actually visibly see. Also, some of those camera shots could actually be camera shake, bad focusing and not to mention the effects of having a decent model camera and having a clue about shutter speeds etc.

Also, remember with standard pictures on a higher res panel, its obviously not 1 pixel: 1 pixel, which is obviously a draw back compared to the way a CRT would work as the picture can get stretched and look less sharpe.

I'll reserve judgement until i've actually seen one, especially after seeing many a badly setup TV system in the past, Sat/Cable receiver not even set to widescreen etc
