I just had to come back to say that I am MAD about the way the GC challenge is treating people on the thread...all the women seem to be apologising for posting and I think it is a disgrace. .some women come on here to get away from that sort of environment at home they should not have to say sorry everytime they post or even want to post or make a comment on something,,

I AM BLO**Y ANGRY i'M AFRAID IT IS DISGUSTING

Sorry that you feel like that - I'm about to go out, but will be contacting you later.

TBH, if you have a problem with a different thread, this thread really isn't the place to post it - keep the concerns on the thread concerned (there's a board rule, but I'm too busy to find it for you this minute).

  • Good Evening Chums, I have been off-line as my computer went to the great cyber dump in the sky. I am back up and running with a new all-singing and dancing one that I am thrilled with. I have so missed you lot I can't believe I have been without all my cyber-pals for 10 days.Still all's back to normal and I am once more a happy old woman.
I have my pre-op session tomorrow morning at the hospital as I have another small op. to have on the 9th October, but apart from that alls well in my world at the moment .just off to have a large G&T to celebrate my new machine. Will catch up over the next few days hopefully
    Cheers chums:beer: :D

Sending lots of (((hugs))) to Pippa and her Mum.

JackieO - glad you're back with us. My PC crashed on Thursday afternoon and my DS1 got it working again that evening but it was horrible to be without it for even that short a time. It was coming on here I missed the most. Hope things are going well for you. And I echo Elona - you are NOT old!

    Evening All

Not much happening here. Took back another hour owed me from work. Spent most the afternoon asleep. A friend called to tip me off about a job, which looks right up my street, so will give that a go.

Doing my daily clicks at the moment and working my way through surveys.

Dinner was left overs from yesterday's roast.

Tummy's churning like nothing on earth today and feeling a bit rough. Think the bug that's hitting the office is trying to get hold of me. It is NOT going to win.

    Hope everyone's ok

    evening all

ive not been on for a little while, things have changed so much

ive gone back to work part time which is nice, on probabtion as such with it for 4 weeks both job and my personal feelings towards it (and if all fails i can go quick route back on is etc but id rather not) found a great childminder for the boys which makes everything slot into place for now though things may be unsettled next month when my 4 weeks on full hb and council tax cease, and working tax credits and part hb/ct kick in

its sooo cold here, ive not had heating on yet worst is mornings after my shower that im feeling it

hope everyone is well, im off to catch up

    Evening folks,

Was not sure if I posted 100 times this morning - I think my lappy has a virus, it is being totally silly

Work was sooooo busy - we were 7 people down, which was bad enough...but then my boss decided to send all bar 2 of us home at four  yes, big clap for him. So I ended up picking right up til 8 o clock and doesn't my back know it!!

Anyway, got home to yummy spag bol, just cooking the Gb now so will eat dinner in a min :)

Jet - Have you had a look at your credit report recently? There could be an error on it that needs correcting. martin says that if you fail a credit check, to check it immediately.
PippaS - Your poor Mum. I hope she gets better soon.
We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment
  • I'm so sorry to hear your mum is unwell Pippa. I hope she improves soon. Take care. xxx
