HWGA - well done! Yes I always count pushing the pram with the shopping on it as more calories than what just walking the same distance would be!
Oh Nicky i used to be an avon ladyyrs ago before I moved to England though, I gave my mum my patch lol and shes still going strong! Christmas is always good for her - hopefully it is for you too because its fast approaching!
Didnt do any walking yesterdayand it was homemade treat night so i had apple crumble with ice cream(didnt make the ice cream lol) and a big cheese and veggie chicken pizza! Was all very yummy though lol. Will try and fit a wee walk in today

Hi everyone,
Spent two days away at work, so sleeping in truck and eating cr*p!! Whatever theysay, the Motorway service areas do not have ANY healthy options.
So today its the Ridgeway from Chinnor to Princes Risborough and back, avoiding all Sunday Lunch at the Pub opportunities on the way!!:D stay wonky

pepe - make some pasta salad you can store in a container for the first day of travels (although it may not last so well for the 2nd day), but at least its one day with healthy options0

Good thinking LilMissEL,
Every day I take 4 fruit, 2L of water ( DONT buy it! ) and a plastic container with unsalted mix nuts, dried cranberry, blueberry etc, well whatever was on spesh at Julian Graves or Holland and Barrett, and these keep me out of the rubbish. Its just catering for the second day that can be the prob, especially when Iwasn't expecting to be out overnight in the first place.
Nice to know you care.
There is no way I'm going back to a 42 waist, ever.:D stay wonky

I'm thinking that as its been such a loverly day that everyone must be out walking away the blues.
I went a bit further than intended, I reached the point at which I was going to return to my car but it was just the middle of a lane. So i thought, just one more hill.......and what a hill, there were steps up most of it ( needed a Stannah !) but at the top had Red Kites swooping about...fantastic.
All in all between 12 and 15 miles over 4 hours.
If anyone fancies getting together for a big walk occassionally, PM me.:D stay wonky

Well done LilmissEL,
legs still a bit stiff from yesterdays little jaunt on the Ridgeway, but had CCA request to send to the lovely 1st Credit so that was worth 4 miles to the Post Office and back.
Re-stocked on dried fruit and nuts to keep me out of the Service Station rubbish......OH away 'farm-sitting' for freinds ( gone to Bermuda "*^$!! ) so got to feed myself !! Looking like a big bowl of Fruit and Fibre and half a bottle of Shiraz for the antioxidants, lol,:D stay wonky
