So its only 2 miles, but double quick to give me time for exhausted sleep befors OH gets home and cooks the dinner like any other good woman should:p:D stay wonky

nicky - that is useful thanks! I walk about 2 miles min a day so ill guess i do the suggested 10,000 steps we r supposed to do
next time stick the trainers on. I got 2 pair of blister resistant socks in primark for £2. SOOOOOO comfy! worth checking out guys
WTBAS - well done on the 4 miles!
Pepe - 2 mile is 200 calories gone!! thats a chocolate bar hehe! So there is no "only" about it
I got a lift into the city today to drop some stuff into uni, insisted i walk home though so that was my 2 mile exerciseWhen i first started it took me 45 mins and i was out of breath even walking in (the way in is down hills, the way home is up) and now its 30 mins either way and i dont feel out of breath, but i do get sweaty! Its great lol. I wish I had somebody to go on walks with around nice places, rather than just the needful walks iykwim!

Thanks LilMiss, just done my 2 miles,
Mmmmm Chocolate. Must resist, daughter works for a promo firm with contracts for 'Heaven' chocs and Kit Kat etc and brings home pallet loads nnnooooooooo!! ( or yyesssssss!! ).
Dont forget to your leg stretches before and after walks, otherwise you'll develop short muscles and never be a ballet dancer.
Ta for Primark tip, my 'Bridgewater, £7 a pair' socks are wearing out and I bought them while I could 'afford it'. And yes, it does get a bit boring...:D stay wonky
:D

ouch - much rather £1 a pair hehe. Not so fussed on ever doing ballet either lol. Ooooh what you could do is stash loads of that choc for christmas and put them in hampers - movie night ones, death by chocolate ones etc etc then u can use the money u saved to buy something nice for urself rather than just eat the calories lol0

Hiya!
Can I join? As I am not working at the moment, walking places will cut back on petrol and probably get me fit!!
I made a start today though, I walked to my physio appointment!!! I have a bad back so walking hurts a little, but it's a 20 min round trip, which was good.
And I went out for a walk along the canal with a friend on Weds, but I'm still suffering that one today!
Will aim to take a trip into town tomorrow, which should be about 30/40mins depending on speed... I think I will try and build up slowly, still not sure what this weeks physio exercises will do to me!
Great idea!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

No too well this week. Yesterday compromised and took the car part way (instead of the whole way I was planning
). So probably only just over a mile.
Only going for a walk at lunch if the weather improves - don't think sitting soaking wet at work all afternoon will help my heavy cold muchworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
