  • Since I did the bus yesterday, I walked to and back from college earlier, plus after tea will be doing another walk there and back as I have an evening class tonight.

  • i didnt want to post again after myself lol - i did a 2 mile on saturday. Took DD out on the pram and walked to the shop that was 1 mile away rather than the near by ones :) so then had to walk the 1 mile back which is slightly inclined (u wouldnt mind it on ur own... just with the pram lol) with a pram full of bottles of robinsons and milk lol. I was all sweaty by the end so was a good wee work out :).

Hoping to do the walk into uni today if the rain holds off so thats another 2 mile with my rucksac on my back with lappy and books woohoo!

    Hi Guys,

Just another to say... the running thread is not scary - we are lovely!

Anyway, a little fact gleaned from Coach on that thread (RichOneday) is that walking burns more fat than running...

Enjoy peeps and when you feel ready to grade up, pop on over for some chat and tips
  • aww becky i dont think the running peeps are scary - quite lovely actually! its just the running i didnt like lol. I gave it 2 trips out lol and enjoyed neither, just the sweatyness after lol

Hi guys, but it sounds more like girls,

Regularly going 2 to 4 miles every day after 12 to 15 hour driving. Makes it easy though when finishing lunchtime-ish.
Had to carry ballast on the steepest uphill part of walk, this was Rolo my terrier who stung, or prickled his foot, and stood at a section of thistles and stingers giving the old 'big sad eyes'...what can you do? Mind you, after he rolled in the smelly stuff he got the hang of walking round them!
Its raining....so get out there and wear a hat, getting wet is not an excuse to not go.
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !

I bought a waterproof jacket for that very reason - so I couldn't use that as an excuse ;)
