    Hi you lot,

Been keeping the walking up even on Saturday with a blinding hangover!

Went to Primark on Sunday, LilmissEL, and got 5prs thick and 5prs thin socks for a fiver....good tip. Another good tip is not to go to Oxford and get shafted 6.50 for parking, or go to the Wheatsheaf, or the West Cornwall Pasty Co!!! oowwww my pocket, still the socks were cheap.
Out this afternoon to get soaked, but its not so bad when you've finished for the day and havn't got to sit steaming at work, newlywed?

    Hi guys,
Well, the sun is out, the sky is blue, theres not a cloud to spoil the view....altogether now!
Just going out for 4 or 5 miles around the fields and sod the bull!!!
Got into a pair of 36 waist jeans ( comfortably, not middle aged-sad-git-convincing-himself-they-fit ) for the first time since I was about 20 (now 47 ) and thats all down to a couple of months of daily fast 2 mile walks and cutting out the choccie and crisps, dont know and dont care what I weigh.

Keep it up DFW Walking Club!

Thanks LilmissEL, I legged it across the field where the bull and his harem were and realised that they didnt take a blind bit of notice, could have at least made the effort.
Nice to get up to the top of the hill and just sit there for a while, turn the brain off for a bit, you know?
    Catch up with y'all tomorrow.

  • Hiya all you walkers,
Glad to see your all at it, I'm doing my daily 2.5 and yesterday did an extra one pushing mr in his wheelchair, which must be worth more than 1mile with all that extra weight:rotfl: :rotfl:
