i wrote a massive post and when i tried to submit it the site told me i wasn't logged in
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
will try and remember what i put.
we had our 8 week injections to day. LO cried a little but was okay after i comforted her. she was so brave (well in my eyes). i am going to buy her a glow worm (why aren't they like they used to be???) for being so good.
MFD -- what a lovely tall boy you have. he will definitely be a favourite of the ladies
sami - thanks so much for the update on elle. my thoughts and prayers are with her, craig and rhys.
feelie - i co sleep with my LO. not every night although i would love to. the only downside is my shoulder joint aches like made becuase you are fixed in that position for so long and if i want to get up before her in the morning, she wakes if i try and move her to her crib.
colic - i am very grateful to some special ladies on her recommending colief. i bought the first bottle (a tenner) but got the next bottle on prescription.
formula - i use aptimal for hungry babies. i had started on SMA but my LO suffered with consitpation and that changed as soon as i changed to aptmial. other friends also do not speak very highly of SMA
can't remember what else i said now :mad::mad:0 -

To be honest I am terrified! Both of leaving Benjamin for that long, and of having to talk in something other than my sing-song voice for a morningI really hope I remember what it is like to be the intelligent career woman I once was!!
Hubby will be doing the early shift and MIL is coming to take over about 9.30ish...I have been expressing like crazy and hope that he is the lovely morning baby that he usually is for me (mornings are our fun times!)
Wish me (and hubby and MIL) luck!
MFD xxx
wishing you luck for tomorrow MFD.
i would be feeling the same as you. i was going to leave bubs with MIL tomorrow so i could go to the hospital with hubby, but as i can't stay up there whilst he has his op, i will take her with me as we will only be there a short amount of time.
i am in severe need of a hair cut and colour and i am dreading the thought of leaving her wiht my MIL so i can have that done.0 -

I will be joining you all shortly (hopefully sooner rather than later !!) and would be grateful for some advise from you !!!
Although already a mother of a 6 year old, she was fed on SMA and I really didnt like it much, I think it gave her constipation !!
Any of you using formula recommend one that you find works best for you and your little one?
A friend suggested Aptimil, but I dont know anyone who has used it so am not sure
Thanks in advance for any help
Hello, MM!
I have used Cow & Gate with both of mine without any problems. I hadn't researched which one was best as I planned to bf Poppy so asked the mw in hospital to choose.
Oh, by the way, just before I had Jamie DH bought a couple of boxes of ready made Cow & Gate bottles with teats from Asda (the same as the hospital provides) for his first few days at home. Not every MSE but fabulously easy!

You will more than likely find it cheaper than this. Well done on bathing him and like someone said you defo sound more up beat now, good on ya x x
that is scary, i was only saying tonight that someone should invent something that can be put in the parent's bed so that bubs can sleep with them.
i am going to look into getting one of these0 -
Best of luck MFD. I bet you enjoy it once you get out of the house and get into it
Formula - Charlotte went onto mixed feeding Aptamil after about 3 months and she was ok on that and it didn't cause confusion between breast and bottle. Then I tried the Hipp Organic when she was about 8 months as I got a load of Tesco point vouchers for it and she liked it, so she stopped on that.
We kept her in babygro's most of the time when she was a baby, and just dressed her if we were going out of the house. When she got to the rolling round the floor stage, she had cheapo jogging bottoms in the house and nicer clothes for going out in. I do that as wellHere I go again on my own....0 -

I usually copy my posts if they are longish due to this happening to me and wanting to throw the lappy on the floor! :rotfl:
Glad LO was a brave little lady. Poppy has a Gloworm and they are quite stumpy now compared to my era but she loves it.
Colief was my saviour and I am thankful to my HV for recommending it and also telling me it was available on prescription!
