I can't remember when millie stopped wearing babygros at night but she would have been well over two! I think probably when she came out of her cot and grobag and started sleeping in a proper bed so about 2 and a half.

i can't remember when you were due krystal, are you late yet?

    Morning all

I am soaked through after the school run today:rolleyes:. Well I finally phoned about Jenny babysitting for us, and unfortunately she has already got a weekend to Blackpool booked (it's been booked for a while) So we are back to the drawing board:confused:

MM - I used SMA for ds1 as he was having vomiting problems (it was nothing to do with the milk in the end) and the HV told us that Aptamil is the best formula. Then with ds2, I somehow forgot this information and put him on SMA, he was the most miserable baby ever...looking back I wonder if it had anything to do with the milk? With Kai, we started again on SMA (I have no idea why?) and it was awful...it was then that I remembered the HV advice from ds1 so we changed Kai to Aptamil, he has been like a different child:D I would highly reccommend it and would advise strongly against SMA.
Just to add, my friend has used Cow & Gate with both her girls with no problems:)

Yeah, they were quite painfull last night, I couldn't make my mind up whether they were Bill Hicks or the real thing... But seeing as they stopped when I got up at 1am for a walk round and some raisin wheats I'm guessing they weren't the real thing...

    I feel your pain!
For about 3 weeks I was getting painful BH's and almost everytime i got my hopes up, but then when I was actually in labour, I just knew, it was so different  :D

Chris still wears all in ones for bed (he's 2yrs 5mth), He's in the biggest size AFAIK so not for much longer, I'm guilty of trying to keep him a baby which is why he still wears them :o
R.mac - I don't think you'd approve of Chris's wardrobe as he is in funky clothes about 90% of the time:cool: (I always swore I'd never dress my child in trendy clothes:o) Feel free to tut while looking at this pic of him :phttp://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2209455&l=7a51cc2e75&id=541141775

Thanks AM, I keep thinking I will know when it really is labour... It's so hard to when everything tells you BH's aren't painful, just tight and you're lying there in agony...

When I was first pregnant, I was pretty sure I'd go a week over... Everyone kept telling me I was going to be early which made me think it was a possibility... Looks like I was right at first...

Sami, have you seen the all in one pyjamas in mothercare? They look so gorgeous and soft... I just can't justify the price, that's why Aimee doesn't have any... Came close at christmas but just couldn't do it...

can I have some cot advice please?

fergie's got about 3 more inches of growth space and then will need to come out of his moses basket, I think. We've moved the cot into our room and put the basket inside it for the last week, so he might get used to the bars. All ok so far. Any tips on how else to make the transition?:D

Also, bedding for cots, I guess I'd better get some!:o What do I need- just a fitted sheet over his mattress protector? He wears a grobag thingie, so I don't know if I need owt else?

    TIA

I never look at clothes in mothercare - too expensive and I don't think they feel that high quality.
He's got some tesco ones that will be too small in about a week, sainsbury's ones have a little bit of space left and next ones will last prob 3mths but at least by then I'll have my bump to baby :p
Next is my splash out shop but I usually stock up in the sale :money:
