My mum was told to come of the pill as it was the only way they could make sure she was having/had the change but she refused In her words "I'm not messing about with condoms like a teenager and I'm certainly not risking it!!" :rotfl:(thanks for sharing that with me mum!:o) I know what she means tho, she got pregnant 1st time with my sis n I and I know it would be unlikely as she was about 47 but it's not impossible!

My MIL has the IUS and they said that was suitable to stay until she was deff through the change so that could be an option. (Why do my parents/in-laws feel so comfortable telling me these things?!?!?)

My tip would be if he has a dummy try to not let him have it while awake now because Chris tended to fall alot a first and I was scared to death the dummy would knock his teeth out :shocked:

No nookie here either... I don't know which will take longest - us being able to nove so we can have number 2, or me letting him near enough to make number two After all those stiches I'm just not there yet .

thanks Sami, Oz doesnt have a dummy so no worries there. he's having his nap now - waking at 5.30am has him shattered!

Hiya,

A quick benefits question....

I applied for child benefit as soon as I had registered my baby, but they haven't yet sent me my official numbers and stuff...

I think I need that number to apply for tax credits though?

If I don't do that within 3 months I cant backdate it, but it seems a bit unfair if it's a holdup with the child benefit people!

Anyone had any similar problems? What did you do?

I'm being a bad mummy today - have sat Izzy in front of cbeebies while I cleaned up the kitchen. She is having a whale of a time and I've had my hands free to clean up and maake lunch and eat! Why did I not think of this before. (don't worry, she won't be there all day, just till I've finished eating )

I think you do need ur CB number for CTCs have you called the CB people to chase it? not fair that you miss out because they are slow!!

and as for bedroom antics it is a regular thing here lol! dont think i could go too long without lol!

OH is reading to abi and its a rhyming story and he is adding bits in here and there that are a bit naughty:D

i showered at 7am (not usually up then..let alone looking anything like an unkempt bog warrior) and i had make up on and looking swish before the school run
OH says im always a yummy mummy though, hes so sweet (and possibly after something)

I was gutted when I applied for Child Benefit and I had to fold Benjamins birth certificate in half to send it off I am a bit anal about things like that!

Having said that, having a baby had rid me of my worries about only hanging the washing out with matching pegs...now I just stick it out as fast as I can!!

Weezl - I am sure it said on the forms that you should ring them if they don't return your information within 2 weeks...although my baby brain could well be making that up or confusing it with the bank account I have just applied for :rotfl:
