Hopefully Celia won't be far behind, she's everso miserable as well and occasionally bitey (during feeding, ouch!)

  • Caz I didn't realise you are only 25 - assumed you were older than me with 5 kids (seeing as I'm 28 and only on number 1!). That just goes to show that making assumptions is a thing to be avoided.

Have just given Izzy some medcine, as injections have made her a bit sorry for herself now. When we've tried calpol before it has been a real struggle, but today she seemed to love it. Maybe I will have to wean her onto strawberries!

Quick question before I reply to everyone...

How do you measure the length of baby, down the front of body or back?? Kai has never been measured, the midwife who came and did his check a few days after the birth just threw the tape measure at me and said I could do it myself if I wanted to:rolleyes:

Not sure how you measure a baby but the midwife told me it was classed as cruelty stretching them out so they didnt do it anymore

Dont you put their heads against something flat (a wall maybe?) then measure the length.....I used the changing mat once when I was trying to work out the height she would be as an adult :rotfl:but im sure there is a more exact way

Ah thanks ella, maybe that's why she didn't do it:confused:
I might have a try as it would be interesting to know......I have just had to put him in 3-6 sleepsuits as his toes are being squished at the ends of the 0-3, and they actually fit him in the body and arms although are slightly long on the legs(but not immensely)...
