Pink Princess - you and your family are in my thoughts
    :wall:
  • Pink Princess 1 - Thank you hun. And big hugs, really sorry to hear of your loss! :(

Savvy_Sue - I know you didnt doubt my love :) I was just trying to say, DS is at the age now where he needs to learn that if his behaviour is good, he'll be rewarded with nice things, treats and toys. And if his behaviour isnt acceptable, he wont be 'treated'. Its not as tho he has to 'earn' it, but I dont agree with him being given a new toy or some sweets if he's been naughty. Maybe people dont agree, but as an early years teacher and a mother, this is what I believe and have practised in my childcare jobs. We're going thru a stage at the mo where he is pushing his boundaries, this was way before me and OH split up. But I have to remind his dad, and my mother lol that he shouldnt get nice treats if he hasnt been good. But they spoil him wayy too much!! :)

RDRR - Welcome to the Parent Club :) And good luck with the party :)

Okay so went to see my lone parent advisor about getting help for some new interview clothes. I have £73 yay! Am debating between a nice trouser suit or a black skirt, white blouse, black waist belt combo ..what do you guys think?? And any suggestions where I can buy them from?

Can anyone recommend any online sites that have printable sticker charts??

Pink Princess - how absolutely awful. Hope you're bearing up.

    Baybee - £73! That's at least 2 outfits!!

Cazscoob - we make a game of tidying up. Imogen saw me putting her things away tonight as she watched the last of the Cbeebies bedtime story and said: "I wanna tidy up Mummy!" Result! I'm not the tidiest of people, so it's definitely Daddy's tidy gene.

Welcome to all new members, nice to meet you all. If you want to put your LO's details in your signature it helps us keep up with who is who and how old they are.

Sorry to hear your news Pink Princess. Thinking of you and your family.

I did my big OU exam today. It was 3 hours long and I had to answer 3 short questions and 2 long questions. I think I did ok. I took a brand new gel pen and the boys think it's hilarious that I almost used all of the ink in it :D
Here I go again on my own....

    Thanks Daphne,
I have absolutely no idea how to make his day special. Although we did spend three hours in a soft play centre yesterday, just the two of us - great excercise!
I got him a garage with cars, but only I have played with it so far :o as he's still too interested in his stacking cups.
Thankfully the weather is nice, so that should make doggie happy as we'll go for a huge walk. But I do have people coming over for dinner tonight so have lots of veg to peel. Oh the fun...

Whoo hoo! A whole year! :j
