Ah the joys of watching a small child eat soup with his fingers! :rotfl: put one friend off having children for life, she said!
mazcabs, not sure what you mean about the pump, but I know I used to take mine into the bathroom and just run the shower for a bit, or keep boiling a kettle in their bedroom, out of reach obviously!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Thanks Savvy_Sue,
Sorry by pump I mean ventalin pump. Unfortuately our bathroom has a fan connected to the light to take the steam away! might try the kettle though as you suggest, thanks...
Little terror yesterday, 1 sleep for half an hour at 11ish, then wouldnt go off at all. Suddenly just after tea he fell asleep in his highchair .. only left him for about 20 mins and he woke up anyway and we did our normal bedtime routine. Typically then he didnt want to go to bed... ah the joys of motherhood!!

am tired today, went for a sweep yesterday still no baby, but my back is killing me today, i hope this baby comes soon0 -
Having a really tough few days, feeling really down lately. Think its a mixture of tiredness, splitting with OH, and DSs behaviour [which maybe be 1. seeming worse due to the way Im feeling. 2. actually be worse with me and his dad splitting this month]
I had to walk out the classroom this morning, without even saying bye, because I was that angry with him. After a long chat this morning about the way he should behave on the way to school and when we get into the classroom, he jus ran off, didnt listen, and basically did everything we'd spoke about being unacceptable. Im so mad with him.\\ Debt Free April 2008 //\\ Single Mummy to 1 boy - 4 years & 5 months old //\\ Last weeks spend: £139.39 - 2 NSDs //0 -

Nice to meet you frasersmum.
I'm struggling with Christmas too. I've got no idea what to buy my boys aged 11 and 9. They've had a PS2 for years and got Wii last year and we've got loads of board games. Neither needs a bike or anything like that, and they're not into MP3 players and or DVD's. I was thinking about a decent mobile phone for the eldest who went to secondary school in September, but after seeing the bashed state of the old mobile phone he's using now, I decided not to!
*hugs* BayBee - try and get some rest if you can. Not easy I know, but every little helps!
Charlotte does make me laugh loads. I had to take her for new shoes this morning as her old ones were getting small. They didn't have many shoes in as the shop is relocating next week so they've ran the stock down. She ended up with bright pink trainers with flashy lights on. She thought they were marvellous and ran round the shop stamping in front of each mirror :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -
Glad im not the only one struggling with present ideas - I have only got him some crayons, a DVD and 3 books so far (he loves books!:)) He has som many clothes and toys its unreal. Not only that, family have started asking what he wants!
Becles - the shoes sound great! My eldest had flashing trainers a few months ago until he wore them out - he absolutely loved them!Moving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked
