Foreversomeday - Welcome to the parent club and congrats on the birth of your LO!!
Savvy_Sue - Of course I still love him, he's my worldI jus mean, hes absolutely spoilt, particulary by his dad, and his grandparents. But doesnt deserve it at the mo, and is currently having toys and treats taken away due to his behaviour. But hey, he'll learn. Hopefully!
School run was a lot less painful this morning. He did try letting go of my hand and running off, but then listened when I told him he was to walk with me. He was a little bit silly in the classroom and I did have to tell him a couple of times, but he did concentrate on his 'good morning activity' eventually, and was a lot better than yesterday!
Im off into town soon, to meet with my lone parent advisor to discuss next weeks job interview [ahhh lol] and see if I can get help with new interview clothes. Will also see if I can pick up some nice stickers, as plan to do a sticker chat for DS to help with his behaviour. Will have a search online for any sticker chart templates, but if anyone knows of any good sites please point me in the right direction
Hope everyone has a good day!!\\ Debt Free April 2008 //\\ Single Mummy to 1 boy - 4 years & 5 months old //\\ Last weeks spend: £139.39 - 2 NSDs //0 -

Baybee - hang on in there it does get easier - until they hit teenage years! we had a few problems with DD1 when she hit 13 and i though were did I go wrong - she was awful... 6 months of no mobile and computer and bingo- shes lovely again now...Also I brought her up on my own until she was 9 so know how hard it can be x
We have had such an awful time the past few weeks, my cousins baby was run over in the drive of her own home and tragically died 2 days later. she was 1 yr and 12 days old. We had her funeral on monday and it was the saddest thing ever. We are all devestated.19.6.10 Weight loss 6lb0 -

Another new member here, but not a new parent...
Our little girl will be 4 very soon, and we haven't yet had chance to sort out a party for her. We've done the soft play centre party thing previously, and she's also had a party at home, so we're looking to do something a little different. Any ideas?0 -

Thanks. My niece had a swimming party for her last birthday and it was good, but not all parents are particularly keen on donning their swimming costumes! She's probably a bit young to get anything out of bowling, and the thought of trying to control 15 four year olds in the cinema is a bit scary, but with High School Musical 3 about to come out it might be a possibility.0 -

They don't deserve to be loved as much as we love them. They don't deserve it when bad things happen either, like Dad leaving, and they certainly NEVER deserve to be spoiled to compensate for things like that, but then they wouldn't deserve to be spoiled even if they were really really good.
I don't know if that makes sense to anyone but me ...
And huge hugs to Pink Princess.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Thanks to everyone for messages. LO is more & more alert by the day which is lovely, unfortunately he's getting more & more windy as well which must be uncomfortable for him. He has had his hearing screening test today, which went fine although I had to hang around for an hour afterwards to be picked up by DF. I am hoping to learn to drive sometime next year but not sure if we can afford to run 2 cars at the moment.
Also wanted to send big hugs to Pink Princess & family, how awful, will be thinking of you.I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0
