    :j Happy 1st birthday Joseph !:j

OMG... cant believe this time last year I had just gone on ML !!!

Know what you mean about Christmas presents for LO, its even worse when he'll only just have had his birthday... his favourite toy at the moment is either the washing machine or an unopened pack of baby wipes !!
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

Baybee - where are you geographically? If you're near me (Wakefield/Castleford) I'll take you to the Next Clearance if I can and you want to go?

Just got an e-mail from Mothercare. There's 20% of their 7-in-1 trekker (I think someone mentioned this was a pressie for their LO?) and £65.99 off the Phil & Ted's for the lady who is pregnant with #2. Looks like they're having a big sale, but not sure when it ends. HTH:money:

But what to do with a toddler, who more than anything in the world loves playing with the dishwasher??? :rotfl:
Buy him a pack of rubber gloves, an apron, a squeezy sponge, a washing up brush, some washing up liquid and a bowl. Then send him round to my place ... :rotfl:

Whoo hoo, look at the time! Everyone just left. We had a great roast dinner washed down with plenty of alcohol. Joseph stayed with us until after 9 and even had some of his cake, bless. When he went to bed, the rest of us played SingStar and had a great night. There's something to be said for adult (ish) parties! Now have to tidy up for the family do on Sunday. New trick noticed here - Joseph has found a new position to play in - bum in the air, feet and head on the ground. Hands free to hold stuff. So cute.

Okay so went to see my lone parent advisor about getting help for some new interview clothes. I have £73 yay! Am debating between a nice trouser suit or a black skirt, white blouse, black waist belt combo ..what do you guys think?? And any suggestions where I can buy them from?

oooh we're sick today. my niece and sister have had the cold and everyone kept saying theres no point in avoiding them cos baby has to catch cold sometime, and so I felt silly not going round there. went round on monday and yesterday i felt awful and last night the wee man was all sniffly and stuffed up and sad. and today we're both miserable. actually i'm miserable but i think he must be a wee bit dopey on it cos in between his sleeps he's all smiley and cute. and he's got this wee feeble cough and his wee nose is all stuffed up. poor baby. and now that he is actually sick i'm thinking - why did i listen to everyone - cos if we hadnt went round to my sisters we wouldnt have caught the cold and i would have saved us a few days of misery. grrr.
