Does anyone else manage to get colic stuff ie infacol, on prescription off the doctors? my sister told me i can get it from the gp and so free for Elliot? Is it worth asking? Ive got to go in on wednesday for the baby clinic and the gp will be there then.

  • Keely, do you have Care at the Chemist Scheme in your area? We are registered with my local SuperDrug and can get items like Infacol, Sudacreme and Calpol for Poppy without seeing the GP. Otherwise yes I'm sure the GP could prescribe it. My HV has also given me a prescription for Calpol when Poppy had her needles.

I don't know about the care at the chemist thing-I'll ask the health visiter see if she knows :o I know its only 3 quid here and there, but im not working (quit my job at begining of pregnancy so dont get maternity pay) so everything adds up.

Thank you for replying :o the infacol is helping a lot at mo.

Heather - what a cutie! Great choice of name as well :D

(Plus I've realised you have the same name as DH's cousin but I don't think you're her, LOL)
