Hobo123 We have all just been poorly. LO had it first and was vomitting really bad. She is ok now but still not eating/drinking very well and is still really sleepy think it's just taking her a while to get over it. Me and OH are just recovering to.
Hope everyone is well. I've not been fit enough to post for the past few days, but will catch up soon. PROMISEEveryone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
Good luck with the interview Lu T.
Been doing two Open Uni modules this year. Just got my last assignment back of one course and I've passed the coursework. Just got the big exam to do on Wednesday now.
Still waiting for my last assignment off the other course, but I've already sent in the examinable assignment so that one is all finished. Results for both are due in December.
Congrats, I take my hat off to you managing to do that with a LO. I'm thinking bout doing this but waiting til she is a little older.Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -

He then wouldn't settle for the rest of the night and started vomitting again at 8:30 that morning. Loads of it we both needed a change of clothes every time. I called NHS direct who were really good, especially as he had had his MMR on Thursday and I was worried it was a side effect, but appratently not. It appears he's got a virus and given it to DH now, who is tucked up at home in bed and DS has gone to MIL for the day to give DH chance to rest. I on the other hand am in work and in desperate need of some sleep.
Had something hit my car on the motorway to work this morning and has damaged my wingmirror, scrapped the windscreen (luckily it didn't shattered) and scrapped and dented the bonnet, just what I needed.
And OMG what a nightmare with your car  although look on the bright side, at least you're ok. :grouphug:0 -
Hey everyone, hope you've all had a good weekend. I had friends to stay this weekend, DS went to stay at his dads, so was a nice weekend catching up with the girls. DS has been a complete nusiance for me though, grr!
Feel really down today and no idea why
Think its a mixture of tiredness, DS's behaviour jus lately, and jus needing a cuddle!!

Afternoon all
Well back on antibiotics again for LO's chest. Also need to use pump again and use 'steam', although how I am meant to have a bowl of hot water next to an 11 month old without him trying to grab it I dont know... So thats me working at home again on Wednesday as LO cant go to nursery for 24 hours after antibiotics.. typical as well it would be this week when we are having a boat trip at work as a thank you and its one of the first do's since back from ML !!!
At least I get to pick up car today from garage after the accident 3 weeks ago !Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Hi all
Having a funny week this week. On friday the ceiling fell down in our living room so now we've got loads of disruption and furniture moving to do - hummmmm.
Today ds1 (nearly 11) got punched full in the face at school and they never even phoned me to tell me...plus I found out the kid that did it got kept in at lunch and break as a punishment, which seems not very much for assulting my son!!!!
So I'm fuming and have had to put ds1's dad onto the case cause I'm still post baby emotional and need a cooler head to deal with something like this.
On a more positive note have just found out that ds2 is a genius (lol) - he can draw!! However my mum says it's normal at 11mths so perhaps ds1 was slow 'cause I'm sure he couldn't operate a pen until he was about 18mths or older - in fact it never would have crossed my mind to give a pen to ds2 he just helped himself to a pen ds1 had left lying around and started scribbling with it. Am so proud.:D .MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -

And so you should be! :T I don't think it's normal for an 11 month old to draw (sorry your mum!) as neither of my boys did
So yeay, definitely a genius! :j
Thanks Dormouse - well prob not a genius as such as it's more random scribbles and he has to keep turning the pen back to the paper but it certainly surprised me.
He seems to have developed a stubbornly independant streak at the moment but rather than changing his own nappies (mummies fantasy) he choses to display this streak only at mealtimes when he refuses to let me feed him. Until this weekend it was only the finger food but now he has extended this to his weetabix and other sloppy food and instead insists on operating the spoon himself. Needless to say the floor has been well nourished lately (along with all orifices of the high chair and most of his face and hair). :rotfl:

It's not easy especially balancing time sometimes, but I really enjoy doing it.
Charlotte has been dry after her afternoon naps, and has started weeing in the bath (and is fascinated by it  ). Thought I'd try sitting her on the toilet before bath time to see what would happen. Bought one of those plastic seats to go on the toilet but she was a bit scared of it at first. I let her take it off to examine it and then while she was wandering round with it on her head, she wee'd all over the floor:rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....0
