  • MFD, why the shocked look?! ;) :rotfl:. My heart would love more but my head says we can only really afford 2. I also have to consider that I'm now 35 and DH 34.

Lu, there was no one more surprised than me when Jamie was a blue bump! I'm one of three girls and girls are more dominant in both sides of the family. At first I was sad for Poppy as she wouldn't have a sisterly bond that I have had all my life but now I'm delighted to have one of each flavour and she adores her baby brother! :D.

I conceived in the first month for my first baby and Poppy and the second month with Jamie but who knows if we were to try again? My auntie has 10 years between her two because it just never happened earlier.

    xx

Sorry is Jack in the room........? Or have you been around too many toddlers lately?

Yes I am feeling more upbeat lately even if bloody knackered. Today has been full on too, but at the end of it Jack is the proud new owner of 4 goldfish and is constantly climbing up onto molly's highchair to get level with them on the wall unit.

Today is our 2nd anniversary and DH forgot. I knew he had but i just let it go, he felt so guilty anyway the poor chap as I bought him some expensive whisky too. There's no hope for 10 years time!! Hoping he'll make it up to me at some unexpected point. Mum came round and we went out for a couple of drinks.

I've also been offered a job today, my old work rung to see if i'd return on a 10 hour week contract, or more if I want it. Decided to accept and i can choose my hours, so Mon and Thurs evenings it is 5-10. That way i can keep the money they've over paid me (even though i kept telling them and they never did anything about it, we saved it). We can hopefully afford to get our extension done now, which is something i've been wanting for a long time. Quite excited about going back to work after 2.5 years but part of me likes just being a SAHM. Gives DH a chance to take over too though and he does do well with the kids.

Still waiting to do a preg test, thinking thurs MAY be ok and as i've got 8 tests to use i might as well, realistically don't expect a proper result either way until mon or tues.

    The waiting goes on......

    Night all.

All this talk of TTC is not helping me trying to pretend my broody feelings are not there :D

Charlotte loved all the animals at the farm we went to. She fed loads of them by hand, brushed a donkey, bottle fed a lamb and washed a pig. She loved the pig best and keeps saying "awww pigs" over and over again :D
Here I go again on my own....

the last time we went to a farm, the pigs were bigger than I was (and I'm quite tall!) and appeared to be trying to climb over the door of their pen to eat us. None of us like them ...
