I have polar bear , C&G cow and MIL got a John West brown bear for Henry.

My HV told me follow on and night milks were a waste of money so i didnt bother and Henry just loves his milk, water and juice. My OH and brother started Henry on beer and now if we pop in our local with him he is always trying to nick OH's beer. Worse one was Christmas just after he was born, OH had mint baileys and dipped his dummy in it....he wasn't even 2 months old by then
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

I have no stuffed toys from formula manufacturers... I don't allow their propoganda into my house in any form... Stuffed or otherwise ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Caz, if you have trouble expressing then try doing it right after she's fed... Or if you can manage, express off one side while she feeds off the other... That way she's already got your let down working which is the important bit...

Wish my sister would come and work wonders in my house... Mind you... Don't know if I'd want her poking her nose in all my clutter lol...

Keeley, hope you have a good nights sleep :)

Sami, we were always allowed to try any alcohol that was being drunk in the home at xmas and parties, etc, as my Dad never wanted it to be taboo. Mum would even buy us a Babycham each for xmas eve and I hated it, but never let on! :o. It meant that alcohol was no biggy when we were growing up and we were never the kids getting blotto in the park!

    xx
We got a babycham each at Christmas too :D

Thanks everyone - I'm glad I'm not the only one with an alcoholic toddler LOL!

Weezl, bless you for worrying. You'll be trying to shake him off your leg in a few months time. We never had a problem with Joseph as he never focused on anyone and if you tried to make him his little head would turn away. For weeks I wondered what on earth was on my right shoulder :rotfl:. He's still not keen on cuddles and as for kisses, he's never understood the point .

    Welcome back scruffy.

I was very close to giving J one year+ milk, as thought it would give him all the nutrients, but decided to go with cows milk instead, as his diet should be doing that anyway and fake vitamins are not as efficient. But his night bottle usually contained baby rice or porridge or semolina to feed him up. My 4yo nephew still has his!

Okay, not that I'm paranoid, but out of all the babies I meet at toddler groups there is... oooh - ONE that likes me (apart from Joseph, but even him the mums said gives me a wide birth!!). I make everyone else cry!! Is this normal or is it my face :o??

I have one sick baby. He seems fine and dandy, but then crying a lot for no apparent reason, and then there are the explosive... well, I have a lot of his clothes in the wash today. Icky. The nurse who did my smear today (whoo-hoo I've done it!! :j So proud, so hated it!) said he's teething, but the ibuprofen dose didn't help the misery. So probably food poisoning orchestrated by me . Ick alert - during the doggie's walk, I thought Joseph had stepped in dog poo, but no, it was his own flowing down his leg :o. He's had three baths today. Can you tell I'm new to this?
