    Hello!
I am Mummy to a five month old girl and made the mistake of buying a clunky Graco travel system. I'm looking at a Phil and Ted's sports buggy on kiddicare. It looks like a great deal (£299 including double kit and cocoon) but I'm really unsure what to get. It's such a lot of money to get wrong! Does anyone use one of these?
    Thanks
For everything else, there's MSE :T
  • Colic!

We have used Infacol since birth but no difference. My HV recommended Coleif. Has anyone used it? We're giving it a go and hoping it makes a difference. Its awful seeing him in so much pain :o. We're using Dr Brown's bottles and he is getting his burps up just fine after feeds. Nightime is the worst but luckily DH is home then! ;)

Janey, I bought it last week! But I haven't used it yet :o so can't report back (sorry, Lu, but I will let you know how I get on as soon as it goes on its maiden voyage! ;)).

It really is a good price and it was too much of a good deal for me and Sami_Bee to resist :D and apparently they have a really good second hand re-sale value too.

i tried colief for a little while but i had trouble getting it into oz as you have to put it in expressed milk and when he was suffering with colic he wouldnt take a bottle at all. apparently it is very good if you use it often - also make sure you get it on prescription cos its £10 for a teeny tiny bottle!

i bought a graco travel system as a present for my sister 4 years when she had her little girl (she picked it and i bought it), it seemed like there wasnt much else about then, but recently all the funky buggys have popped up - i've got a quinny and love it but she always hated her graco cos its soooo bulky. shes another little one on the way now so dont know if shes gonna buy another.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I loved my Graco travel system, although we stopped using when DS was 10 months old and bought an umbrella folding buggy, I'll be using my Graco for number 2.

SB-yes we tried coleif. TBH, not sure that it made any difference:o Like nadnad had trouble giving it as LO breast fed. Our GP wouldn't give it on prescription either. I found another company making the lactase enzyme (which is what coleif is) I'll have a look and if its cheaper i'll post it here.

LO managed to take to a bottle today!! I'm so happy - usins MAM teat. DH is going to take over feeds friday night so I can have a good nights sleep. Gotto go he's just waking for another feed .....

thats fantastic! lucky you, i think i'll be doing night feeds til Oz is like 10 at this rate!
he never ever took to a bottle. and though he takes water and a little milk from a cup now i still cant see me stopping bf him, though i guess because i dont have a job at the minute i'm in no hurry. its funny though i was convinced i'd stop feeding him at 6 months (if i got that far!) and now here we are more than 8 months down the line and its probably too easy to keep on bf IYKWIM.
    ah well

SB - I ordered a Phil & Ted's too! It arrived yesterday. Just waiting for OH to build it as I plan to use it for Imogen on her own until #2 arrives.

Imogen had her second ever dry day at nursery yesterday - hurrah! She's actually been potty trained since before Xmas but nursery seems to be different somehow. She only goes one day, so we haven't worried too much. I promised her a present if she went to the toilet like a big girl all day (I'm not above bribery!) and OH gave it to her last night as I was working til 10.30pm. When i spoke to her she said the present was a pram! Not the 3 cars from Mothercare we'd bought her :ROTFL:
