Has anyone got any tips on how to entertain a nearly three month old? I'm doing my best but I keep running out of ideas! Thanks
Do you dance with her? Chris used to love me twirling and bouncing round the living room with him  his fave tune was Nelly furtardo - Maneater :rotfl:

Sami-bee - "Love you gorgeous" :rotfl:, I'll put that on my list of word to teach J!
I have taught him to greet me with "hiya gorgeous" and daddy with "poooh daddy stinky" (while holding his nose) must add that his daddy does return home from work rather stinky!

Agutka, i'm sick and tired of medicating my baby too and we've yet to do the teething thing.

Do you feel it's doing any harm? I'd feel happier if I knew it all went in, did it's job and came out. Joseph also gets coughs colds teeth chicken pox more colds all the time. So much so that we're two months behind on vaccinations. After which he'll need more medicine!

Speaking of which, they don't give us medised anymore! Grrrr. I feel guilty about even wanting it now :o

:naughty: I still use medised :o I found out that the reason for it not being allowed was parents were giving their bubs too much, I give Chris a half dose and he only has it before bed, never more than 1 half dose in a day. He'll be old enough to have it in 1 month now so I doubt he's gonna suddenly change in that time.

  • I still use Medised. I bought a bottle two months ago that says 'from 3 months' on it. I am annoyed that we - parents - are not trusted to read the flipping instructions

Elliot is behind on his vacs too Agutka but we are going for singles so we will have a trek to go and have the measles jab. He has a rotten cold so it will be January before it is done, at least. I just hope he recovers enough to have it asap!

Any other winter 07 mums thinking of TTC? Can you believe we have discussed it  there was me swearing NEVER AGAIN and my word did I mean it. When my GP asked me about contraception at my 6 week check I gave her such a filthy look :rotfl: she changed the subject! It is not exactly on the agenda just yet, I can't submit my body to another pregnancy quite this soon, but maybe in a while  I'd love another boy... or a girl! :)

I use Medised occasionally - mainly when Charlotte has a cough or tooth pain or something that stops her sleeping. It knocks her out and she gets a decent sleep. She's horrid when she's tired, so it helps me be less stressed too :D

I'd love to be TTC'ing but unfortunately he says no more :( Got really strong baby feelings and it's very hard keeping them under control.
Here I go again on my own....

Chris is a Jan 07 baby and I'm doing it again but I'm thinking you mean the other end of 07? do you know September_baby she had a girl in oct 07 and is expecting a boy any day now!
I personally think 2.5yr age gap is just about right and luckily thats almost exactly what we got, I'm due 1st week in june :D
My 2nd preg has been much more tiring but I'm not sure how much that has to do with not having a job to take my mind off it and spending my days running round after a toddler. I can tell you nappy changes are fun when the smell makes you constantly gag! I suppose the key is to have your tot in a routine otherwise I think it would be much harder

I like the idea of another one Rhys was Aug 07, but then swing in the complete opposite direction and decide I couldn't love another any more (I know that I will, but am terrified of not). I don't want to share my time with Rhys with another one. He's so funny and cuddley and feel I would not be able to give him the time I want, especially working full time. One the other hand I have never wanted an only child. Not really sure what to do about it.

I wondered if I would enjoy 2 year olds any better when I didn't have a baby to worry about. I didn't.

Seriously, I'd still be popping them out if they didn't turn into 2 year olds. And then teenagers! Although at least teenagers can generally be left to fend for themselves if either you or they are poorly. "Stop fussing!" and "You worry too much" are fairly standard phrases here.

i buy calpol night, it says from 3 months on the bottle i have and the same stuff is in that as in medised, however i just checked the calpol website and their advice is now "not recommended for under 2". I buy it from a local pharmacy and they know Oz is only 6 months and have never questioned me, but a friend went to Boots to get it and was asked childs age and when she said 9 months they wouldnt give it to her. Its stupid because you could just go back and say 2 and what would they know? especially as she's been giving it to her for a while. I didn't know until just now about the new regulations! Especially as the bottle says its alright, I've only given it to baby when he's had a cold because whatevers in it helps keep his nose clear at night, but it doesn't make him sleep the way everyone elses baby does! i think he's immune to sleep!
