Tell her and show her how much you love her, fake boobs really won't be the solution to her problem. Do you honestly think she'll be happy to sit around the house with her new boobs, I bet after the boobs comes a new desire to go out and about to improve how she feels about herself too, so then not only could you be paying off her debts, you'll be the babysitter and paying for her nights out too. Who gets new boobs to stay couped up inside a house 24/7?? You mentioned she joked about a tummy tuck....give it time if she goes ahead with the boobies.Fight for clean hospitals, C-DIFF takes lives

Just here to ask advice really. My gf, (who recently gave birth to my first daughter) wants a boob job however her credit is very poor due to CCJ around 5 years ago.
She went and saw a consultant and they offerered her finance if she couldnt pay for the op in one go....Paying back an extra £2K on £5.5K op over 5 years (£130 p/m)
Originally her mum was going to sign up and my gf just make the payments, however her mum has now changed her mind.
She is really upset and dissapointed and is constantly asking me if I will sign up on her behalf, i am reluctent to, although I love her to bits and see as "the one" I dont want to be left in £7.5K debt if things go wrong between us & she decides not to make the monthly payments. (I already have a £5K personal loan & about £2K on my credit card.)
All thoughts and advice are approciated, what would you do in my situation? Am I right to be cautious or just being selfish?
Thanks
That's a lot of money for what most people consider a luxury...
I haven't had it done myself, but I know a couple of people who have and they assure me that it is not the answer to someone's problems. It may change her on the outside but the negative mind set often remains. I used to want to have mine done but I have learned to love myself over the years...One day I will be out of my student debt, one day... :beer:0 -
I had a boob job just over 4 years ago. It was the best thing I ever did and I have never regretted it. It did a huge amount for my self esteem.
I went for a consultation got the price and then started saving for it. I was offered an early appointment due to a cancellation but as I hadn't saved enough I didn't do it but waited until I had the full amount.
I am happy to say that they have never have to be replaced, it is also worth suggesting she go to her GP as some health authorities are still doing the procedure on the national health.
I wouldn't get into dept for it tho, if she wants to get it done, she should save hard.
I took on a second job to pay for it and it took me a year.:rotfl: l love this site!! :rotfl:0 -
I would say no, 2 stories below....
Brother took out 15k loan to pay of his fiances student loan (they also owned a house together and were trying for kids). A week after this she dumped him for someone else and left him with the debt.
Best friend took out 5k loan to pay of boyfriends credit card debt. He has TERRIBLE credit rating and she was trying to help. He split up with her a few months later, chucked her out and she was left with the 5k of debt aswell as loosing everything she ever bought for the house.Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
A boob job will not help her self esteme and I can not beleive that someone has posted that she should see her GP for one on the NHS. Disgusting!
Seriusly, instead of trying to get a loan why not try and support her in getting over her insecurities?0 -
could your gf be suffering from a little post natal depression ,sounds as though she wants this to make herself feel better . has she tried speaking to her gp about how she is feeling .0
