Has anyone been to or heard of the new restaurant in Carrickfergus called The Harbour Point ? good ? bad ?

Have to reccomend Mollys in Ballymoney. Open all day for meals. Order all meals and drinks at the bar, waiter brings food to table. No draught beers or largers though. It is only a resturant, cant just sit and have a drink
Been there 4 or 5 times now, lunch and evenings and never had a bad meal yet.
Quite an extensive menu - the most fish dishes and vegetarian choices Ive seen on a menu here. Best of all , although the portions are large, they are not so large you are wasting loads.
Dinner for 6 with beers, wine, coffee and 3 desserts - change from £120.
Oh and if going for the chip side, go for the chunky chip - delish0 -

Check out Ed's Bar & Grill in Lisburn Leisure, they also have a cool Bar/Coffee shop with FREE Wi-Fi so you can take your laptop and surf MSE!

wasnt impressed by this at all.
It was expensive and slow.
Also you pay extra for cream or ice cream with your dessert which is a bit tight!

Angelos in Lisburn is a superb Italian restaraunt, especially the mascarpone lasange! It's very resaonable too, and it has a daily offer of 4 courses for £8.50. Everything I have had there (and I go very often) has been great, the mafia mushroom starter is one to get too!0

Hi All:wave:
We moved to Ballymena a couple of months ago and now we're settled want to find some good places to eat!!
We tried the U Tree in Ahoghill which was LOVELY, so ty to the op for that one!!
We've also tried The Water Margin chinese, which is nice, but a bit pricey.
Are they any other nice eateries in or around the Ballymena area that anyone can recommend? Most on here are in Belfast, so would be nice to find somwhere a bit more localAny type is appreciated!!!:j
Thanks in advance!!
