If your going to portrush I would recommend the Ramore Wine Bar, it's recently just reopened after a major refurbishment meaning more space and a fresh new look, it owned by the same people that own the other 2 eateries next door (the harbour bistro and coast), they do good value lunch specials too! see http://www.portrushharbour.co.uk/ for a bit more info...
hope this helps

I have just read a review on line from yesterdays Sundy Life of Yoko Restaurant.

Imperial City Chinese on Botanic Avenue is really good - excellent food and service and cheap - free bottle of wine menu Monday to Friday from 5 - 7.30. Even normal menu not so dear - especially since it hasn't taken on this nonsense of charging 3 quid for a portion of rice. Free prawn crackers too.0

Try St James St South in Belfast. If you like fine dinning this is the place for you. Deserves a star.I am an Independent Financial Adviser with 26 years experience.0

It used to be good, lets hope it has returned to it's formal glory of fine dinning.

Good restaurants like anywhere are about taste and budget. One man's foie gras is another man's fish & chips. Belfast is not exactly coming down with Michelin Star restaurants, but there is one Deans (upstairs), fine dining and an excellent wine list.
I believe James Street South and the new Roscoffs is also worth a mention and both may receive a star in the near future. If, however, you are looking for a feed on a bin lid, I am sure you are not short of choice in Belfast.
