hi may i joint too? i will pledge not to buy any haircare, skincare or cosmetics until christmas! (to be honest, i could probably last for the next 200 days without buying any of those, but that would just be too hard.)1 oxfam jumper, 19 hexagon jumpers and 1 beanie!0

p.s. Oh I meant to say i'm going to join all you chocoholics and give up chocolate at the same time. I actually managed this for 4 months, but caved one day. Actually, when i think about it, since i've started eating chocolate again, i've been more inclined to eat other crap foods (i.e. take-aways etc). EVIL CHOCOLATE....
I've just given up chocolate this week. Every time I bought a nice bar of chocolate to 'last me the week' it lasted me a day!
But I'm not giving up for 100 days because, ladies and gentlemen, there are only 98 days until Christmas    :eek:0 -
it may not be 100 days left, but i will TRY not to buy lunches from the crappie staff canteen as they are awful and really exspensive.... (3.50 for gruel style cooking) yucky!!!!
(and i will try the chocolate thing but i have no will power....)

Joining in a few days late, so it takes me to boxing day I think. I'm not going to buy coffee, this includes coffee for the house. This does seem to be my biggest and most selfish consumable item that I buy.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0

Hi everyone
I love this thread and the fact that lots of people are joining in. Its day 4 for me now of not buying clothes or magazines and I haven't succombed so farI am determined to stick to this as I have lots of lovely clothes that I am currently too chubby to get into so I am hoping this will act as inspiration to finally shift some weight too.
Have a good day everyone.

Did anyone else see that the Body Shop has just brought out a new range of mineral make-up? It looks really nice............but I must not give in. I already have the mineral foundation from l'Oreal anyway so I really don't need another one.0
