100 Day Challenge

Hi all,

I am setting myself a challenge to not buy any cosmetics, skincare or hair care for the next 100 days. That should take me up to 23 December. These items are my BIG downfall, especially cosmetics. Anyone want to join in feel free. Just decide what you want to stay away from for 100 days. Wish me luck and gook luck to all who join in:beer:

Good luck magni! Do you have a lot of stuff you can use until then, or will you stop using makeup?

I'll have a think about it before I join in... have just run out of a few makeup bits and pieces and can't afford to replace them this month!

Hi magni, what a good idea, I would like to join in please. My downfalls are coffee, magazines and clothes. I can't go to work and give up coffee so I am not going to buy any magazines or clothes for 100 days.

I'm afraid to say that I probably have enough make up to last 100 years never mind days:eek: So I'll still be wearing it:D

I like this one! I won't buy any chocolate for 100 days. That will help my purse and my waistline

I think I may well join in, brilliant idea!!

I have enough left overs, half used bottles of makeup and skincare stuff to last quite a while. I will have to buy shampoo, conditioner, soap and deodorant though, don't have a backlog of those and it's kinder to the general public if I smell clean :rotfl:

I've just done a mental log of what I have stashed away and I can do it. And i'll have to make gossip blogs fill in for heat + more magazine.

Ok, I'll go with the cosmetic stuff thing too. Unless I actually run out of something (unlikely) or if it's totally free of charge, I won't buy any cosmetics/hair/bath stuff at all until after Christmas.

Cherie, are you SERIOUSLY going to give up chocolate for 100 days? *hyperventilation noises*

Well, I've had a think and surveyed my bathroom cupboard - which is so full it won't close properly - and decided to join you in not buying any cosmetics/toiletries for 100 days. I was planning on getting my hair done on Christmas Eve, so that will be a nice reward. Good luck, everyone!

Evening All - what a great idea Magni. Its taken me about 10 minutes to decide that I will join you - my biggest weakness is Avon. the lady drops the catalogue around and I love choosing makeup and yes, I have tons of it unused in my drawer.
