I have a terrible habit of buying more of them because they look nicer or are on offer so have been resisting the temptation and working on using up products. Feels great using up products that have been sat there, for a few years:o

Yes it is nice to finish them up esp if theyve been hanging around 4 ages:T I almost gave in when i was out shopping today as i saw some products Ive wanted 4 ages on sale, but i was strong:D Am almost finished my body moisturiser and a lip gloss with sunscreen(I have so many chapstick/lip glosses:o ) I can't wait until the last one is used up as I am replacing with only natural ingredient lip products- because we ingest so much. Luckily for the challenge I have many more to finish:D

Was given afew avon makeup samples! So I've been using them for the past few days but I'm back on my bourjois now. Bought some chocolate *slaps wrist* last wednesday, green and blacks organic white chocolate on offer. Damn. :(

If there is another 100 day challenge after this I'll give up chocolate completely. Although during this 100 days (well, less than that) I've only bought one magazine, one thing of makeup and one bar of chocolate which is much much less then what I would of! I don't even miss magazines anymore.

    Hello everyone!

Haven't been on here for a while, but I have been sticking with the challenge. Have had to buy some hair conditioner, this is the first cosmetic type thing I have bought since starting the challenge!! Amazing, just can't believe how much stuff I had tucked away. I get a real kick everytime I finish a tube or pot. I seem to use less as well, sometimes I actually think "I don't need to use that"

I shall carry on with this when the challenge finishes and use up everything!

i've been a good girl, not bought anything new :D had to get new shampoo and deodorant to replace the ones i had used up
my dressing table is looking less like a boots counter these days - make up wise im doing good as well, finished up a few foundations and close to finishing a powder compact
avoided splashing out on the boots offers thats been on the go as well (first thought was i was going to buy it when everything else ran out) but resisted
have lost track of how many days left in all honesty
  • Im going to give this a go - 100 days without takeaways, things from the vending machine at work or things from the local supermarket whilst at work !!

  • I don't miss Boots, Superdrug, but I miss (badly) Lush, that has been the difficult bit, I love their soaps, shower gels and shampoos! I did have a slip and brought 2 of their bath ballistics. I think if there was another challenge I would extend it to chocolate.
I am full of joy, abundance, wealth and love.

I am with you Racer - I love LUSH stuff and as i am going to be not buying any toiletries in next challenge it will be hard not buying any lush but luckily i have quite a big Lush stash and it will give me chance to use some of it up.

Lush is a place I rarely go to as we don't have one close to us.

I have ordered my Christmas present to myself from the kids and it is some cosmetics:eek: I have ordered from the States and I'm not classing it as a failure on the challenge as it has been paid for from my Christmas budget and I won't be using it until the challenge is over;) I did feel so bad after I completed the transaction but now I'm looking forward to my lovely Christmas gift:D

  • Sounds like some people are depriving themselves too. If I am offered a coffee at my mum's or friends I will happily, grovellingly gratefully accept it. as I set my challenge not to BUY it. Too be honest it was after I started this challenge that my mum actually went out and bought a jar of coffee in. Only go down on average once every two weeks which is also when I see my friends. Good job really as I went through hell the other year swapping to decaf, and neither my mum or friends actually buy decaf in.
Come boxing day I will be buying the biggest jar/tub of decaf coffee in I can get.

Think most of you have 25 days left. I started a day or too late, and my hundred days finishes on Boxing day.
