Hi I have used up quite a few products since I posted last. I have used up cleansing wipes, a shower gel, a bottle of cleanser and a toner. I agree with Puss14 the shower gels I am using are the ones I don't like so I have learnt to buy what I do like. I think if I spend more on what I like I would buy loads of rubbish!I am full of joy, abundance, wealth and love.I am a money magnet. Hi all
I have done OK apart from a few bags of crisps to keep me going on long train journeys. No toiletries still and that is the biggest thing really (oh and no lunches at work sort of had to go out of the window a while back but I have still been fairly good on that front:o )
I reckon I can hang on in there for another month, actually am hoping that my ways have been permanently changed, I would like to not be the sort of person that stockpiles stuff but the sort that buys as they need and uses up before they buy again.:A Well I can dream :rotfl:£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Hi everyone. I am still on the wagon. I haven't been in Boots for a month. I have a week off in Dec so that will be hard for me to resist buying anything that is not a Xmas present!I am full of joy, abundance, wealth and love.I am a money magnet. Hiya all
I haven't posted for ages but I have been sticking to the challenge. Have not brought any skincare, haircare or cosmetics:j . Finished my first product today, Cetaphil gentle cleanser- nice mild cleanser, but underused by me as I had brought some other cleansers and was using them instead. So to use it up I pledged to use it every morning and save my nicer cleansers for night time and to mix it up. Two more cleansers to go.
Have also been making myself use up the body moisturisers i have had for ages but not that happy with and am almost finished one and aim to have the other finished by the end of challenge. I have hidden away this unopened lovely body butter so i am not tempted to open it until the others are finished.
I am enjoying this challenge and will be pleased when i have more bottles finished. I think what i have learnt is that I don't need multiple different products and to be more careful with what I buy so that I enjoy using it.
Keep it up everybody:beer:
Although i don't think i signed up to not buying any beauty products for 100 days, i have kind of been doing it and like you have been trying to use up the cleansers and body lotions.
I have a terrible habit of buying more of them because they look nicer or are on offer so have been resisting the temptation and working on using up products. Feels great using up products that have been sat there, for a few years:o
On the chocolate front, i still haven't bought any chocolate, although its getting harder with all those bargains on chocs. My mum bought me a tub of chocs for xmas as i won't see her now, but they are still sealed in the cupboard and won't be open till xmas. I can't wait till Christmas day when i can gorge on chocolate!!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

The no chocolate thing has nearly killed me! Some days the need for chocolate in conflict with not buying chocolate has almost sent me doolally
The next hundred days challenge (if there is one) I may leave that one out and include other stuff instead (chocolate probably a lesser spending vice than expensive crap for the kitchen)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
