Further to my recent post about buying Prima, I decided against it
so I haven't sinned yet! I'm still thinking of getting a mag subscription for Christmas though from OH. Well done everyone! x

I'm just popping in to see how everyone else is doing with this. Sounds like some people have great will power. I have kept up my promise not to buy choc till 23rd Dec, although have slipped up three times, that was mainly as i was really hungry but in a rush and couldn't access anywhere with proper food!
However was very good today and resisted the urge to buy two bags of my fave chocs for £2, they were on special offer, however i know if i buy them i won't be able to resist eating them.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Hi all
I have been doing OK *ish*
I did buy some chocolate biccies and crisps last week (long train journey) and I also spend some money on tat for the house today (new can openner as mine was driving me insane and fridge thermometer which I needed because I was a bit worried about the temp of my fridge, I didn't need the oven thermometer but I am sure that it will make my baking brilliant)

Hi all,
I haven't been on here much as computer has been playing up. I have behaved myself though. I even resisted the temptation to buy Prima to get the Eliz Arden palette:j I don't need it and it's only a bargain if you actually need it;)
Buffy I'm sorry to hear that your skin didn't agree with using up all the cleansers. I hope the Superdrug stuff sorts it out soon.
I have been in Superdrug several times and managed to come out empty handed:j It's next door to the library so I always like to have a wee look. I haven't been near Boots in ages though:T100 Day Pot £13

I have been happily watching all my bathroom stuff go (very slowly) down and then today I decided to start to bring home all the crap that I keep at work and suddenly I have more crap than I started with on this challenge!!!! I know that it is good because I haven't spent any money and now sort of have more stuff, but I really was liking the teeny bit of extra space I had made in my cupboard.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Ok kind of had a slip, whilst on holiday saw a fantastic shaped coffee jar that happened to be buy 1 get 1 free, so bought two. I am actually using one of the jars for a college project to make a Terramundi inspired pot or 10.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0

My parents bought me a tin a quality streets yesterday  well they're to share with my BF but I told him on the phone (not seeing him until tomorrow) and he said 'No, you open them now. I know how much they mean to you' so I did.
and I've only eaten 7 (I counted!) while watching little dorrit. *sighs* so much for giving up chocolate completely... it was free though!0 -
Hiya all
I haven't posted for ages but I have been sticking to the challenge. Have not brought any skincare, haircare or cosmetics:j . Finished my first product today, Cetaphil gentle cleanser- nice mild cleanser, but underused by me as I had brought some other cleansers and was using them instead. So to use it up I pledged to use it every morning and save my nicer cleansers for night time and to mix it up. Two more cleansers to go.
Have also been making myself use up the body moisturisers i have had for ages but not that happy with and am almost finished one and aim to have the other finished by the end of challenge. I have hidden away this unopened lovely body butter so i am not tempted to open it until the others are finished.
I am enjoying this challenge and will be pleased when i have more bottles finished. I think what i have learnt is that I don't need multiple different products and to be more careful with what I buy so that I enjoy using it.
Keep it up everybody:beer:Thailand 3010/15000 20150
