I'm having a rubbish week this week! and if things don't turn themselves around i'm treating myself to something at the weekend to cheer myself up. *sighs* I'm going to behave and just get myself a new top (been eyeing a topshop one up for a week now) and stay away from boots because if I have a 'treat myself day' and go in there I will end up buying makeup. (Will give sister my purse if we go in!) Been sighing over benefit wide eyed kit. stay strong stay strong!

It's great to see everyone doing so well:beer: Cinny91 don't give in. When I feel like that I open one of the many items of new make up that I already have:eek: and instantly feel better;) Stay away from Boots and treat yourself to the Topshop top. You'll feel so much better for it;)

I've been eyeing up a handbag in Sainsbury's. I've been in twice now with the intention of buying it (it's only a fiver) but both times I have left without it. Handbags are not in my challenge but I just don't need another handbag. It feels good to be walking away from other non challenge items too:A

Well done from walking away from the bag! :T I've put the benefit set on my christmas list now, so it's out-of-bounds to buy until after christmas. Things are getting abit better so I don't think I'll be getting the top, I'm only really going shopping for socks! So I'll try and stick to that, going with my sister though and she can be quite the pusher when it comes to clothes

Running out of liquid eyeliner but i'm pretty sure I have another one somewhere so I've got a search on my hands after work.

  • No falling off the wagon for me this week, in fact until I treated myself to some wine and bread in M&S I had spent less than a fiver since last saturday (my last spends were on Friday night). I just whacked that up to a total spend for the week of about eleven quid which I think is not bad.

Stay strong ladies and gents, stay strong.

morning all, hope that you are all well and staying strong. i have not given in to the ELF temptation even though i have had a really horrid week and know i need a treat. on the plus side, i have managed to finish two items (deodorant and moisturiser) and have a shampoo and body wash on the way to the great plastic recycling bin in the sky. it is really a lovely feeling - not to mention the enjoyment i get thinking about what flavour body wash/shampoo i will use next (from the big bags in my cupboard!).

    Have a good day everyone.

Cinny you can use mascara instead. I find a black eyeshadow and a wet brush works as well!

Hi I haven't brought anything at all. I have used a bottle of shampoo and a shower gel. Still another bottle of shampoo to go and 5 shower gels left! No make up brought and I have managed to stay away from Lush!

Thanks for the tips :) I used to use eyeshadow + a wet brush abit ago but liquid eyeliner is so much quicker for me to put on. I've found an unused pot of brown liquid eyeliner so that should keep me going until christmas, at least.

I was in boots on saturday, getting my BF a shaver for christmas and it came to £40. They had the 'Spend £50 get £10 in points' thing going on and I was tempted to get some makeup because it's 'technically' free, but I told my sister to drag me to the tills. Quite glad as I'd already spent a small fortune that day!
