It tempting to further engage Tim Deegan ....

When "taking on" Tim Deegan yesterday, I didn't realise I was doing the unforgiveable and feeding the troll!

Won't make that mistake with Mr Deegan again!!

It wouldn't be going off topic. The original question has been answered, but over the many pages since then the thread has progressed.

Whatever you want to call it

The original subject matter has been covered, but loads of other members have also had their input. This is what forums are all about. You won't find many long threads that are still on exactly the same subject they started on.

I've been lurking too sinstar, but even I can see that it's not a case of whether the person should have parked there or not. the key issue is these blessed private parking companies who think they can rob shoppers in this way.

IMHO there are much better ways of dealing with antisocial parkers than whacking a huge invoice on their windscreen.
Couldn't agree more.....They should just tow em off n crush them into cans, people like that don't deserve to drive, If they cant distinguish the parking signs, what chance have they got in comprehending road signs? I'm sure there's a good bus route for them.

i know this thread is a old one but i have a new spin on it , i was given a parking ticket for parking in a asda car park in the orbital site in swindon , i parked in a disabled place because all the parent an toddler ones had been used( i had my little boy with me) an i had been previously been told before by an asda employee that it was ok as they have about 12 parent an toddler ones and 50 disabled ones an the disabled ones are never full , do i just ignore it?

Presuming it is not from the Police/Council and is not an official PCN but a PPC invoice then feel free to ignore. Disabled bays on private land have no legal standing and you have no obligation to tell them who was driving either.

Ignore the scammers, or alternatively print a few of these off and pay them with these.
